"My pre-order is done" Thread

If you were eligible for an iphone upgrade and you placed an order through AT&T but you timed out during the "checkout" phase then please look at your "order status" on the AT&T site. Your order will show up here first before a confirmation email.
 
Was able to order 2 32 GB black iphones. I have a FAN discount, took a few reloads to get the checkout button to appear on the shipment page but after it did it was smooth sailing!
 
I noticed that on ATTs checkout page when it wasnt working it said something about it being delivered starting the 24th but I had no checkout button. Now I have a checkout button and it says "iPhone will ship within 3 to 5 business days regardless of the selected shipping method." I wonder if they ran out of ones that they can ship for receipt on the 24th.. What do the confirmation emails say?
 
I ordered 2 32gb iphone 4's through Att premier site. I tried Apple first but when it froze up and kicked me out I went to att. The first time on att's site I had to hit checkout on the shipment page before I could get any farther. On the second order it went right through.
 
Ordered from AT&T. Premier customer. I had no problems, no slow refreshes, nada. Confirmation email came asap.

I was torn on black/white, but the lack of the latter made my choice for me. =)
 
Thanks I timed out as well on the ATT site after hitting submit order. It is showing up in the pending items. I did not receive an email yet.
 
I was able to order two 16GB on the AT&T Premier Store without any problems. They did do a slight tease on the second phone as it started out showing the price as $199, but then at checkout it jumped to $399 as was expected since that line would not upgrade until 2/2011.
 
Done! Through Apple's online store. My first iPhone, and I have to drop a gnarly $500 deposit because I'm 18 and I haven't really gotten around to building any credit. Fairly pissed, but apparently I get that money back in a year?

Anyways, very excited to away from Verizon's awful phones and get some real technology back in my hands.
 
can you preorder from an att store? i click preorder on att.com and it shows me 3gs, and apple is down

edit apple lets me preorder a 32gb, but i want the 16
 
Ordered as a second line for pickup at the Apple store. I have had no issues with AT&T service, but having been in my local store I have ZERO confidence in them - better to get the handset in hand and then deal with them converting the plan to Family Talk.
 
Tried over 5 times on the apple store. Got it in my basket and everything only to have it time out, bomb, get the store is offline message, etc.

Ordered just now via ATT. 1-2-3, all done. Got a confirmation number, got a email already w/ all my details, etc.

Much easier than Apple.com.
 
Stayed patient and was finally able to get through. Will be picking up one at the north michigan store in Chicago.

Were you given the FedEx option with free delivery for the 24th? That's the only option I was given.
 
I am very tempted to order from AT&T but I just need to know i will have it on the 24th.
Has this been confirmed?

Per my ATT Receipt:

Pre-orders for iPhone® 4 and iPhone 3GS 8GB will be processed to arrive as early as June 24, 2010, if submitted by 2 p.m. ET, June 22, 2010.

The actual shipment date and receipt of your order is not guaranteed and may be subject to delays for reasons that include, but are not limited to, product availability, inventory, credit issues, number porting or carrier delays, and completion of other required AT&T business processes.

Additional items added to the cart at the time of your pre-order may ship separately depending on availability. All pre-orders taken online are being handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

It says the apple online store is down and will be back soon. Do I keep retrying till it lets me in? I want to do in store pick up, but I don't want to go through AT&T and wait till the 25th to pick up.

Can I do this through the new apple store app that was released for iOS?

Also will I be able to reserve without paying full price till I pick up the phone?
