If I order through att.com today, will by card be charged in full? Or will it wait until the phone ships?

I ordered mine at 5am from AT&T and I haven't received a confirmation number. However, I did print out the confirmation page and I did check my order status to make sure it was being processed (took about 3hrs for it to show up on order status page).
how long did you guys have to wait on the, "please wait while we process your request" page?

I ordered from AT&T this morning at 5:30..still have yet to get a confirmation email.....
tried to order from apple but its saying im not eligible now where as before I was this morning. hopefully that means the att order has gone through ok. just wish I would get a darn email.
this is sad. both apple and att sites are overloaded...everything is at a snails pace or halt.

Last year when I ordered my 3GS thru AT&T, they did a pre-auth at time of order and then ran actual charge thru when shipped.
How do you guys get to keep your unlimited data plans?
I ordered mine on ATT's site at about 6:45AM EST and it forced me to change data plans. Was this option available on Apple's site? Did those who were able to keep the unlimited plan have special accounts? or is this something I can call customer service about to have them change?

I would refresh every 5 minutes or so. It seems like pure luck, but if you keep it up, the site will load for you.

it was available when i ordered through att. there was an option for personal unlimited, and the button you had to click said keep remaining or something

it's now been 20 for me as well...

i have the same thing, but i dont think the unlimited data plan should be a problem. It was a valid option, i'm not sure why it would take so long just because we have unlimited.
