my saddle brown/product (red) leather case for silver & space gray iP6/iP6s (updates)

I should probably give that a shot. I just don't want to drop my phone in the first week 🙂
I'm pretty cautious with mine to begin with so maybe that helps. give it a shot, it will work out.
Got mine yesterday but its got some streaking running diagonally down the back. The streaks are kind of whitish. You can see them running left to right, from the top right corner.
are you able to rub it out? I clip my nails quite often and scratched the side a little but was able to rub it out. I guess with my hand oils it went away. OR you can exchange it for another one?
It came like this out of the box, so I think its just some kind of issue with the dye job. Those sections don't feel any different than other parts of the leather, just a color difference.
I am going to exchange it.
I used my co-workers space gray iPhone 6 to compare. I think it looks really nice once it starts to patina a bit. This combo looks like a winner too.

You would be much better off getting yourself some leather cleaner/conditioner.

Just used some leather conditioner and applied two layers to it over the last 4 hours. It looks great!
And supposedly adds a bit of water resistance. I'd recommend this product to anyone on here (it looks dark at first, but two hours later it returns to normal color)

I have it but I'm so used to black on black.
Waiting for the patina to start forming on mine - that makes it look really nice.

I want this case, but I'm not a fan of the 'patina' effect you speak of. I am using my black leather case from my 6+. I'm looking for a change.

For those looking for water propellant for this case, I took the plunge and sprayed this onto the case - no damage or discolouring and it makes it feel grippier

wow nice, the rose gold looks a lot better in person than online. matched with the saddle brown case, very nice.
interesting. Kiwi is sold in the US, may need to try this. let us know if anything happens to the case. i would like some water propellant for the case. even if it's minimal.
White looks good for a day, after it gets dirty it looks horrible. The saddle brown leather looks best worn in.
Seems they can't keep the saddle brown in stock at both apple stores in my area. they have been selling out every day glad i got mine over the weekend. Love it -especially the way it's wearing.
