Im just waiting for apple to release new revision of the leather case for better fit. Before than im staying with old leather case with much better fit

I order the midnight blue before mine iPhone 6S arrived. I put it on, and it never fit right. Today I took it back and got the Saddle case. This is the best looking case. I love it, and it feels great. I know some have complained it's really slippery, but I just love the feel of the new leather. Can't wait for it to age and really get broken it.

Just got this for my 6s+. The black leather I got last year for the SG 6+ fit just fine but I wanted something that went better with the silver.

The quality is good and it looks beautiful with the phone. But it is slippery whereas last year's wasn't slippery at all. I don't remember needing to condition it. I actually remember feeling immediate relief that I can use the phone with confidence it wouldn't slip out of my hand and it didn't seem to add any bulk at all.

I use a case to get a better grip and to protect the protruding camera. I really like the look of this but if it's still slippery after some use that defeats the purpose of the case and I'll go back to using last year's case. Even though I like the look of saddle brown with the silver, the black case isn't a bad pairing.

Ok people. I just got my second saddle brown case from Apple. It's significantly better than the first. Fits much better towards the bottom and not so super tight. Also, grippy! And the buttons are much easier to press. I guess it just depends on which day you go to the Apple Store. I'm much happier now and can end my case search. This thing is gorgeous. I might have to get the matching Apple Watch band. :)

That is my problem now. I want the brown leather band for my Apple Watch, but man another $150 on a band is so much.

Thanks for posting the pics, etc., guys..

Want of these badly based on looks alone...

Can't get myself to pull the trigger on a case with the bottom cutout though...meh

I agree with you. I don't like the bottom cutouts. I have a fear the speaker grill will get scratched because it's unprotected. That's why I have a range of cases. If I got out I'll put on my speigen case. Indoors is my apple leather case. I'm pretty cautious with my devices ️.

Exactly. I suffer from the same disease, whatever it is lol.

Even in a simple incipio thin case - my phone has survived a few minor drops. I'm terrified (strong word in this case, I know) of dropping the phone and smashing the bottom - call me crazy.

Mate. You're not crazy just cautious about what you buy. I'm the same. Last year when I ought my 6 plus I dropped my phone using the black Apple leather case directly on the speaker grill . I had a big dent near the charging port
Everywhere else was fine. Not one scratch on the device.
My heart was broken.
From that day I used an outerbox case and hated the apple leather case.

Luckily I was due for an appointment with Apple to fix my Bluetooth and they swapped my phone for a new one ️.

Bottom line, I don't use this case outdoors due to my tragic experience lol. Only in the comfort of my home.
Neither to say the case is beautiful with a lovely grip that's why I bought the saddle brown to match the rose gold

I'm OCD but don't mind the opening at the bottom. no scratches to report on mine. i like that it at least shows some of the design.

8 days of use and I can honestly say this is a legit win.

Grip - check
Soft buttons - check
Patina - check
Fit - check

I'm sure lots of people returned this case like many other 6s leather variants within the first few days- but that's a huge mistake as leather products always take time to break in.

Here are my pics.
Unfortunately I put leather conditioner on mine when I first bought it and it still looks brand new. I really want to darken this thing though!

This year the leather cases seem to taper outwards slightly at the bottom. Not just me is it? It's disappointing

I put a leather water propellant on mine. It made it more grippy and waterproof (sort of) but is now developing a nice patina
Which one did you use? I WANT the patina but it looks brand spanking new and won't darken ha.

Should have never out the leather conditioner on.

Yeah since buying the iPhone 5S leather case, I have never put conditioner on mine. I just like the worn in look.
