My store pickup now says June 2nd HAHA! Wait their serious..? 0_0

So i originally made up my mind AFTER physically playing with it in store that i was going to stick with the MBA. I just couldn't get passed the lack of extra 1.3" screen & the extra wrist surface space for my big paws that i have on my 13.3" MBA. And it didn't help much when i told the "boss" i was getting the new MBR, she was silent, AND THATS NOT a good thing :eek::D

Anyway i decided out last night, while we were out after a few beers of course. Screw it ill get one and if i don't like it ill just return it. Well... I originally had ships 1-3 days and store pickup for April 22nd just the other day.

Now it says for store pickup June 2nd, HAHAHAHAHA. I can't help but laugh, between this and the watch man o man. Christ by that point we will start seeing leaked articles on here about V2 details "being sarcastic obviously". I dunno, waiting until June 2nd makes me not want one again i guess :p.

Maybe i can monitor my local Best Buy getting them in store & get lucky, plus the 10% off movers coupon. But I'm sure they have no clue when they will get some "in store".

Well that's why you order first and decide later haha. I'm not sure I'm keeping mine but I ordered right away. If I dont like it, I return it, easy. Getting mine on Wednesday! Having said that, yours will probably be available well before June 2nd.

I very much believe this. I think we are going to see them in store as early as next week. Those who chose ship to store will be getting big time bumps (earlier) in pick up dates.

You are right, i forgot they don't even charge you until it ships. I was 50/50 on the watch too. I had pretty decent dates when i added to cart, i decided i didn't even want one since i wasn't sure i was getting the new macbook. I should have went through because my friend got June dates and he ordered at 12:32 PST. I would have given him my watch being it was a whole month earlier.

I need to not get all "principle wise" and just let my order ride next time lol. Oh well :mad:

What do you think about Best Buy, i would like to order from there because i have a spare 10% movers coupon i would like to use. It would save like $130. That is a nice chunk.

Wow they bumped you pretty far back. I ordered the USB adapter and a base model Space Grey. Originally it said 1-2 weeks on the adapter, and April 22 on the computer. Now it says April 14 for the adapter and still April 22 on the computer (preparing for shipment).

What computer did you order - and did you go straight from processing to June or did it go to prepare to ship before pushing you back?

The charge has already gone through for mine so I am hoping not to get pushed back. Also hoping they will hold the adapter until the computer comes in so I can get both together as my Apple store is 30-40 minutes away.

I feel for you that sucks. Hopefully it will get to you sooner. :(

To be honest though, i would like to get one from Best Buy if possible. It would save me roughly $130 with the movers coupon. But asking them when it will be in store would be like pulling teeth, they won't know I'm sure.

I just bought a 2015 MBA for a "family" type computer for my wife, me & the 11 year old to all use around the house and light school work for him. I was going to get the 2014 version and save but they were sold out. I got the 2015 MBA 13.3" which was on sale for $949 at BB. With discount i got it for $906 with tax, not bad. I didn't open it yet. Was thinking of possible returning it for the Macbook for a family sharing computer, essentially allowing me to get my evil hands on it, and please the wife at the same time :) . Granted it would be about another $350 or something even WITH the 10% off movers coupon. But now with this wait....

I am a elite member so i have a 30 day return policy.

Yes, I've confident to say many people who were following this laptop were expecting to go into the Apple store last Friday. And, as always people play with a new toy and end up taking out their credit card. That's gone now.

It shows a shipping date of April 22nd- May 8th. Hmmm i wonder how accurate that is compared to Apples June 2nd. :eek:

I would check in store middle to late this week. My local best buy showed they had none of the 2015 13" retina pro's online and when I called the person said they had none. I decided to go in store, and they received two. This was on launch day about a month ago.

Not very. I posted this in another thread. There is no guarantee you get it between those days if something comes up.

Man what a cluster *****! This is all rather disappointing. I guess we are somewhat used to this. It just seems to be getting worse each new release. :mad:
 
Except the next MacBook will be later this year right after Skylake is released, not next April.

I would keep checking best buy and apple stores this week. I bet they get some in stock.
 
I was on the fence and gonna try to make an air work. Two days in and I can't. Ordered from best buy today. April 23- May 2nd estimate.

Did you do the professional calibration via the tool thing in displays? I calibrated my MBA and i seen a VAST difference, it really helped the contrast. Granted its no retina, but if the extra $400 or whatever the difference will be is worth it to you than it is. Piece of mind is what you want, or it will bug the crap out of you lol.
