Is there ANY(stress) way jailbreaking can brick your device?
Then Why do some sites give disclaimar about harming your device and blah blah........

The act of jailbreaking itself can't brick your device. Even if you screw everything up, the phone should be able to enter DFU at which point you can restore to a stock firmware.

But if you somehow break your dock connector in such a manner that the phone still charges, but won't make a data connection to the computer and you changed your boot logo, then I suppose you could be screwed. So don't change your boot logo

I'm glad to see people re-use old threads, because that way I don't have to hear people bitch about starting new threads.

Old threads have incorrect information. Now someone may come around and read the first page of posts and be completely mislead. That's not what you want.
