Ya but I think you are missing the point. As mentioned above earlier in this thread a website is offering the glass backing for only $20. Being so cheap we all assumed that it is just the glass and no coloring behind it. But then why do they have them listed under a specific color?

OMG seriously...the glass is clear obviously, then it is silk screened either white or black and then it is attatched to the panel black for black painted glass and white for white painted glass. is this concept so difficult...the glass which is painted is what makes the colour the panel/bezel piece is how it attatches to the frame.

So the glass itself is different because of the black or white border, is that what you're saying?

yeah, I was thinking about grabbing a battery or 2 myself. They are not soldered. they attach with a high density pressure connector.
