It's designed to be thin AF but not move in wind. So everything would need to be designed to death and calibrated correctly. The fact it looks so simple is why it took months.

PS - take a look at my posting history; I don't defend Apple lightly.

If Apple actually wrote your reply like they designed that stage we wouldn’t have read it until about July 4th.

That stage took months of design work?
yes, Jonny will tell you how important it is and how he understands the rainbow color, some kind of philosophy..... now i can understand why the product quality recently so poor and why the price is so high----> they spent countless hours and effort on this FXXK stage (not permanent)

Boy, do they have money to burn.
yes, iPhones in 2019 starting from $1099

Wow... Jony Ive’s design team has enough time to design and release a stage, but from 2013 to today in 2019 is not enough time for them to design and release a new Mac Pro.

Right...sounds legit cuz it was said on MR. Astonishing so many people on this thread really believe that.

It would seem Ive’s design team isn’t the holdup... if five years isn’t enough time, then ten or even twenty more years wouldn’t be likely to make any difference, would it?

I think there must be a better explanation than the designers haven’t had time to finish the case, what do you think?

Explains the lack of a radical iPhone redesign this year. The design team sure have had their hands full!
This behavior is making me sad. The management at Apple seems to have gotten lazy and bored. It seems to me they are more concerned about the design of Apple Park, the stupid ego Apple book, the looks of their luxury stores then they’re concerned and focused on their hard- and software.

Original Mac logo? The rainbow Apple logo goes back eight years before the Mac... I still remember it from every. Apple ][+ I used in elementary school (it isn't quite the original Apple logo, because the original Apple I era logo featured Isaac Newton, but it's the first one to gain wide currency).

I always thought it was the apple of original sin - since it had a bite taken out of it, but yeah Newton too of course. And don’t forget the Apple Newton - “ PDA “. Personal Digital Assistant :)

The amount of greenery/trees inside the campus is insane. The Apple Campus Probably has more trees planted than the entire three block radius of my house.

Part of their commitment was to return a majority of the giant HP paved land back to nature. Unlike other companies that have made this claim, Apple has actually done it. Kudos to them.
