Quoth the OP: MyWi "On Demand" upgrade. Worth it?
NOT worth it for me. In fact, I can no longer use MiWi without "On Demand" being installed and mucking things up - which is ludicrous. I had to uninstall and reboot in order to get iTether working again (the reboot is crucial). When I reinstall MyWi, On Demand gets installed as well, and iTether is again rendered useless. The good news is that IOS 4.3 will be out soon, which will feature the built-in hot spot - so I won't have to lament my $20 loss much longer. Even better news is that TetherMe ($2) has apparently already been updated to work with it, and word on the street is that a jailbreak exploit has been found for 4.3.
I'm indeed curious if ANY other blutooth devices / services work with the new MIWi / On Demand combo installed. In the meantime, I'll use PdaNet in trial mode if I need to create a hot spot.
