MyWi - Rock My Phone

MyWi rocks. I don't care what anyone says. Truly incredible what it does and hats off to the designers. I experience no bugs whatsoever on my iPhone. The phone even charges in wireless tethering mode, unless there is more than one person tethering. These days I use it less since I bought the Airport Extreme for my AT&T Motorola DSL modem, but it's still nice to know I have the power of MyWi for when I am on the go. Today the most important 2 apps on my iPhone are MyWi and eyetv, which allows me to watch any of my cable TV channels on my laptop or iPhone live using Live3g, even the HD ones which are not listed, even away from home. Wow it's a great time to own an iPhone...:cool:

TVU is another cool app store live TV app but not as cool as eyetv live3g.
 
MiWi-Fantastic

Count me as one of MiWi's huge fans. Works fantastic, and its small glitches are easily manageable. I used it more than any other app, with the exception of iPod/radio.

My only immense regret is that I made the stoopid, fateful error of upgrading to OS 3.1.3, thus taking away my ability to use MiWi until some jailbreak magic happens again. It's no exaggeration to say that losing MiWi has significantly changed my worklife for the worse...:(

Best of luck to the Rock team in defeating the Apple killjoys!
 
I've been hesitating in getting MyWi because it used to require Rock...but now it doesn't. As I understand it, a new version uses MobileSubstrate now.

Has anybody tried the new MyWi (No Rock) v3.4.3?
 
Amazing app

Yes, I have it on my unlocked,jail broken 2g iPhone using t-mobile's EDGE data network. It works just fine with my iPad. Using mostly data updated apps, it is absolutely acceptable. I don't think it could support movie streaming, but as a connection when I am not in wifi range, it is outstanding.

Remember... No additional capital purchases and no additional carrying charges. For $9.99,how could anyone possibly complain ?
 
I need help

I have jailbroke my phone I have downloaded the rock and MyWI4.0 I have paid the 20.00 to be able to use it and i can't get past the log in page on mywi4.0. I am getting aggravated and dont' know what else to do. please help.
