Naming your iPhone?

What a great idea.
I might try using the NATO phonetic alphabet. Alpha for the iPhone, since it's the first Apple product I ever bought (technically the first and second). Beta for my MBP, since it's the second.

So, I've gotten into the habit of naming my iPhones. The first one was "Ivan," 3G is "Ive". iPhone 3G S will be "Remy".

I named my original iPhone "Phoney McRingRing," after the "mascot and president of the phone company" who appeared in the Simpsons episode where the town gets a second area code and Homer is pi**ed about it.

I named the 3G "Phoney Mc3G."

Not sure if I'll continue with that pattern for the 3GS, or start a new one.

For years, I've named my home computers and network devices after MST3K characters. Servers were TOMSERVO and CROWTROBOT, media center was TORGO, wireless network MAGICVOICE, etc., etc.

My GF's pet name is Monkey. (IDK why, it's just what it is.) I bought her a green iPhone case and this is her wallpaper. (1st attached.)
Her phone is called "Monkey Fone." I'm thinking about changing that to a famous monkey's name. Any suggestions? Ham?

I'm Penguin. (IDK why, it just is what it is.) My case is orange. I'm going to change that to blue. The second attached image. Any famous Penguin names?

I name pretty much EVERYTHING after anime characters... the current (soon to be sold) 3G is Yunnochi. The new one will follow in the same vein and be named Miyabi (but get called Kyōju)... though I wish I'd decided on the name before getting a white 32GB one, it really should be black... oh well, that's part of what cases are for.

All my iPod's are named after Bond Girls (and all my Mac's are named after Bond Villains), so my new iPhone 3GS will be called Vesper.

I have Sherlock Holmes theme running with my gadgets & home network so I was going to call the 3GS "Wiggins". But I like your Bond idea! I might have to copy that.
