Has anyone successfully launched a native app? I have loaded 2 and they just sit and spin before crashing.

Was this not the bug that caused the update to be delayed?

I have the same issue. Just updated two apps that now have watchOS 2 support, and they don't launch anymore. First they were crashing and now they're just spinning endlessly. Examples are iTranslate and Rules. All other watchOS 1 apps continue to work...

Yes! I'm having the exact same issue with my watch. Dark Sky, E-Trade, City Mapper etc. all apps that were just updated with Watch OS 2 support with native apps all can't open. Holding off on a restore, as it's a pain and like you said it may not fix it. Wonder what's going on. I was jailbroken on 8.4 a few weeks ago...

Non-native apps show the name of the app when it shows the initial loading spinner. Native apps do not.
That's a very good tip about the name being right in the center for non-native apps and up in the top corner for newer/native ones.

Sort of. Non native apps show the name under the spinner, native apps show the name in the upper left hand corner.

Thats good to know. Parcel was loading as a non-native app, so I checked the Watch companion app, Parcel was not even installed on my Watch but the icon was there... no wonder it didn't load!

Does the watch automatically install native apps? Or do we have to manually select it?
The developers have to update the apps to run natively. When you install their update, it should work. Unless you're me. Because not a single native app will open. I guess I'll try unpairing and repairing.

Just wasted my time trying an un-pair and repairing to my phone. It didn't work. I did restore a backup from today, maybe it has to be fully erased and set up as new...

Yes it's a native app from what I understand. The app name is in the top left corner vs being in the middle like a 3rd party app normally does.

Ok. Hmm anything special you might have done? Set up the watch as new? Ran a beta? Made a deal with the devil?
