NBC and Time Warner Continue to Back Flash Over HTML5

Given that the SWF format is a published, freely available specification, wouldn't it be hilarious if Apple incorporated their own player in safari/mobile safari? While full coorperation between Google and Adobe is still ironing out bugs and no release quality player in sight, this would be comedic gold.

I like both Apple and Adobe, but I can't help the urge to become that kid in the schoolyard yelling "fight!"

I don't hang out here much lately.
New job isn't compatible with Apple prices...

Just saw mention of a Safari add-on called Click-to Flash and installed it.
Hopefully this will stop the incessant crashes from Safari.
