Screw you Duke, Butler deserved to win. They played like a real champion.

Classy.

An excellent effort by both teams. Butler had excellent defense and a good game plan. Both teams gave 110%. As said previously, Duke won it; but Butler didn't lose it. Both teams deserved the chance to win. Duke prevailed.

Duke is a bunch of spoiled brats with golden pacifiers. Butler is a scrappy team that played hard and was not given a chance. I would say Butler deserved it more and played with passion but Duke got the breaks as usual.

Crazy game, especially that last shot. If Butler had been against anyone else but Duke, I would've been cheering for them, but I can't say that I'm sad how March Madness ended. :D

I do believe BOTH teams were given breaks. There were a LOT of fouls that weren't called on both sides.

The Brad Stevens reminds me of a young Krzyzewski. Comes to a small school with not a lot of basketball pedigree, recruits well, advocated tenacious defense, gets more of his players as a team than they should achieve, and puts his school on the national radar.

Brad Stevens will have a long, successsful career. Congratulations on a stellar job and great season.

Will the NCAA officiating committee please, please, please let us know why Duke gets every call? And maybe they can explain what K tells them to influence every game. I'd really love to know. I'm so sick of watching teams lose to Duke because of poor officiating. It's not fair. It's unconscionable.

Don't be that guy. To blame officiating for Duke's wins is a display of your ignorance of the game. Duke won this game fair and square. There were questionable calls that went against Butler, like the charge on Heyward drawn by Scheyer, but there were also calls missed against Butler as they were absolutely hacking Zoubek, Singler, etc. down low getting rebounds. And no one would ever call it, but the last pick on Singler thet gave Hayward the last shot was an illegal screen. All in all, this game was actually well officiated, and the officials let the game play out without callint stupid touch fouls.

Duke deserved to win as they played better than Butler overall. Stifling man to man defense on both ends of the court was the biggest factor of the game.

Both teams played extremely hard and deserved to win the game, but Duke just won in a tight match. Congrats to Butler for a great game and tourney run, and congrats to Duke as 2010 NCAA champs.

I displayed my ignorance of the game in the bracket contest, thank you very much.:)

If you actually follow college basketball and especially the ACC, you would know exactly what I'm talking about. Duke gets favorable treatment from the officials. I'm sick of it, and I hope somebody from the NCAA's governing body has the balls to call the refs out on it. It's not Duke's fault. It's the officials.

Zoubek was man handling people in that game last night and didn't pick up his fourth foul until late in the second half. Just because he's 7ft 350 lbs does not mean he can knock people over and get away with it. That charge call you mention with Scheyer and Heyward is about as typical as it gets with the refs favoring Duke. That play altered the outcome of the game, and if you don't believe that, you weren't watching.

I'm not the only one who feels this way and I've seen enough Duke games in my day to know there is a bias. It hurts the game of college basketball and it needs to stop.

Great game. I had no rooting interest, so no bias. Butler was the victim of over-aggressive officiating. They clearly picked on the one guy, calling a number of very minor, meaningless fouls.

Officials tend to be front-runners and so the dominant teams get the calls and the underdogs have to overcome this. Happens at every level.

Rules have to be changed to keep refs from being the dominant factor in so many games.

The Uconn women Huskies just went 78-0. The only NCAA division 1 team to go back to back undefeated seasons since the UCLA men. 10 away from the all time win streak.
