West Virginia with an interesting way to score 28 - eight threes, two foul shots, and a pair of technical free throws.

EDIT: If WVU pulls this off, I'll have no teams in the Final Four. LOL!

I don't think I have ever had every team I predicted to miss the final four before.

When is the last time no number 1 seed got to the final four?

So it is all your fault!:p

Can't believe 3 out of 4 number 1 seeds are out of the tournament.

I wanted Kansas State this late in the march madness tournament, but oh well. I have to pull for West Virginia. When's the last time they won an NCAA?

Tomorrow :p

Man I went from 2nd place to near the bottom with the WV win.

And I went from the very bottom to 2nd place with the win.

Everyone in my pool's bracket is totally ruined, but most had kentucky winning it all. Now the only one ahead of me has Duke winning it all, and I have WVU going to the championship game (though I picked them to lose to syracuse).

I'm like 50 points behind the guy in 1st. As long as WVU makes the championship game I'm the only one who can win the bracket challenge!

Is Duke the NCAA's golden child or what. First they get the easiest region then they get the lopsided calls.

Wow, what game were you watching. Fouls were pretty evenly distributed until the second half. The charge that went for Zoubek could have been called a block, fouling him out, but he was called for his 5th shortly after. The technical on Acy was a no brainer (you can't go 15 feet and bump someone aggressively and NOT get called). By that time, the momentum had changed in Duke's favor.

Purdue and Baylor were anything but easy wins for Duke. Heck, Baylor had "home court" advantage, and an easier/earlier regional semifinal game. Several of the teams who were upset in the other regions have more themselves to blame than the opposing teams.

Say what you will, Duke played effectively against the great Baylor zone defense. Had Duke not had so many cheap turnovers in the first half, or had Singler actually hit a field goal, the game would not have been as close as it was.

Please don't pull out the same tired "Duke gets all the calls" refrain.

Don't pull out nonsense. That was a very even game and very well played by both teams involved.

I agree. Every team will get favorable calls sometime or another. Even Duke gets the low end of the refereeing. I'm proud of Duke (even as a UNC fan) to pull it together and tough it out. We saw Kansas, Kentucky, and Syracuse all lose before the Final Four, and Duke defined the odds and now has a ticket to Indy.

Good Job B'Devils.

They won't get past West Virginia. Duke got the luck of the bracket as usual. I would not be surprised if the NCAA wanted Duke to get to the Final Four because they didn't want all the number 1 seeds out.

Yeah, they knew that Kansas would lose to Northern Iowa.

I am saying that they didn't want all low seeds in the finals. The NCAA is about ratings, they want a big name in there and everyone knows that Duke is the favorite child.

Yeah it was rigged. They even have remote controlled basketballs to make sure things go their way.
It is easy to blow a call here and there. The NCAA is maybe one of the most corrupt sports institutions around.

I hate Duke

ESPN, especially Vitale and Bilas love them like college football loved Tebow

I hate Duke

Bilas went to Duke, I'll give him a break, and throughout the season I think he actively works to give them a fair look, much better than say Clark Kellogg telling us how great ohio state is, or digger phelps and lou holtz explaining to us why Notre Dame will rise as a power in each of the coaches respective sport

Overall I think Bilas is one of the premiere color guys in basketball, if I had to make a dream booth I'd use him, he knows the sport and improves the experience

Duke is the most overrated team left standing. The only team in their bracket that was any good was Villanova and they lost in the 2nd round. Duke was GIVEN this Final Four appearance by the committee. Luckily, WVU will beat them like a rented mule before they reach the Championship.

Bilas and Vitale are both awful commentators. They both favor Duke at every chance they get. Granted, Bilas is alum so that's understandable, but Vitale is just the worst in the business. I can't stand him during a game and usually just hit mute when he's on. I'd much rather have guys like Len Elmore or Raftery call the game.

On another note, this is the week where Jim Nance proves he has the most charmed life of any living person. He gets to call the Final Four and then heads to Augusta for the Masters. What I wouldn't give for that opportunity every year!

I'm calling Butler in the final game -- I'd love to see them win it all, but that'll definitely be a challenge. My mom's a Butler alum and I live in Indianapolis, so it's buzzing here.

Anyone else read the story nytimes.com about their bracket challenge? Of the 40,000 brackets submitted, only 35 had Butler as the national champion. 0.0875% of all brackets...that's remarkable. I'm sure the majority of national bracket pools are already over with because no one has the Final Four correct  It's been a crazy tournament, that's for sure.

All I can hope for is that Butler gets it done, since Purdue couldn't
