Me too. However the atmos icon on info screen got disappeared even if it’s atmos enabled program such as Away.
Can you see atmos icon ?
Yes. Try playing something, then going back to browsing - that seems to kick it into gear. Or force-quit Netflix and relaunch.

Definitely something is going on with tvOS 14.2 - not only Netflix have issues with Dolby Atmos, iTunes and Disney+ are also impacted. Other devices connected to the same Sony soundbar doesn't have any issues to passthrough Atmos sound.

Netflix is now showing up the Atmos badge when playing a supported content however the sound is outputting as 7.1 LCPM - no Atmos in the end...

My receiver now showing Atmos when watching Atmos material on Netflix (Apple TV 4k)

You can’t roll back Apple TV. It’s like the watch. There is no restore option and no way to do a DFU or similar anymore on the 4K unit.

You are stuck with 14.2 beta until the official release, whenever that will be.
Yeah, 4k only does OTA updates and Apple doesn't provide past restore images OTA. If you have 3rd or 4th gen, you could perform a 14.0 restore from a downloaded image.

I disagree, at least in theory; In the restore menu there is an alternative to "Restore and update" which will restore all factory settings (including "no beta") and then install the latest available tvOS (in this case 14.0.1). I haven't tried it myself though...

All that does is factory reset the Apple TV and will re-install the beta software.

There is NO way to roll back firmware on an Apple TV, just like the Apple Watch. You are SOL on that front.
