Ok I just noticed this today (4:30pm) as I really don't watch Netflix on the Apple TV as often. the highest i get is 1750 on the ATV which is on wifi.

On my 2010 Mac mini running Mavericks, netflix tops out at 3000kbps. On my 2010 MBP running Mountain lion... 3000kbps. Both are connected by LAN.

on the iPad 4 iOS7, 4300kbps
iPhone 4 iOS7, 3000kbps
iPhone 5s iOS7, 3000kbps

this was done around 10pm EST and i have Verizon Fios 50/30.

*edit*

Just checked(12:44AM) the ATV and I am getting 5800kbps steadily... this is all very strange.

Last night I did not have any issues with HD for the first time since November 9th. I hope that this might have been fixed but I time will tell on that. I would have to put in more viewing at different times of the day to make sure.
Could have been a fluke.

I haven't used Netflix on my ATV3 for a while now, since the latest update, so figured I use it last night. Wanted to watch Season 3, Episode 6 of Breaking Bad, Netflix got me to the point of playing the episode, then I got a yellow triangle and an error about accessing the episode.

I then fired up my iPad 4th gen, and watched Episode 6, as well as Episode 7. Not sure what's up with that, but I'm not happy. And my ATV is on gigabit wired Ethernet, not wireless...

Netflix has been screwy on my macbook pro and ATV3. I couldn't get HD on either even with the high quality playback settings. I changed them to auto, logged out of both devices and logged back in. Now I'm getting HD on both. So apparently I can't force HD, but if I chose auto it will give it to me...

Apple TV is disconnected. I watched one program tonight then after I tried two more programs that started out great then after 10 seconds buffered to a fuzzy mess. I am back to the Roku 3.

I got it! I had issues all day long. I ran the example video and wasn't even making it out of the 100's. PS3 hits 5800 no problem. I went poking around the netflix website and changed my quality setting from HD to Auto. The ATV now has no issues hitting 5800. Tried on my second ATV and was able to duplicate the result. 😀😎

Netflix really needs to update the ATV app it so needs post play

The app does appear rather clunky after seeing the updated UI on my PS3.

On another note I am no longer having issues getting content to play in HD as others have reported. I didn't change any settings or anything though, just started working again a few days ago.

It's happening again... only on my Apple TV's. They can't get past 235kbps. Wired or wireless. Complete restore does nothing. PS3, iPad and iMac all work just fine. This is really starting to piss me off. 😡

Yep I have realized it is happening once again and this is also happening with Microsoft Silverlight on Macs with Mac OS X Mavericks 😡 The worse part with Apple TV I get weird tiling at the top on and off when this happens and I did check my connections especially my HDMI which are tightly in.

APPLE & NETFLIX FOR **** SAKES FIX THIS ISSUE ALREADY!

Still happening Netflix or Apple still do not care about it I wonder how many people reported this to Apple I have so many times that I am tired of repeating myself.😡

Hooked up my ATV the other day for like the 10th time to see if it is fixed and I watched two programs with Super HD no problems in the afternoon. I though good it is finally fixed but then I was watching Fringe last evening which was in Super HD and half way through it dropped down to fuzzy low def then ramped back up but not to Super HD. Then last night I tried to watch Chuck in the evening and it played in Super HD for about 10 seconds then dropped down to fuzzy low def. I disconnected it again for the 10th time and watched it in Super HD no problems on my Chromecast.

The ATV is still a streaming pile of turd as my Roku 3 and Chromecast most of the time have no problems getting and maintaining Super HD. I am going to give it to my uncle when he comes down so I won't be temped to hookup this turd no more. He has no internet so he will sell the turd when he has a garage sale. Either that or I will use it as a hockey puck. 😡:apple:

I guess Netflix or Apple no longer care since December 2013 these issue has not been fixed and it is getting even worse😡

HEY NETFLIX BRING BACK THE OLD DEAL DVD+STREAMING for $9.99 you IDJITS! You are becoming like Blockbuster terrible streaming service and censoring everything so the whiney parents wont do their jobs.

Yes I am pissed and yes my ISP tells me it is Netflix and Netflix tell me it is my ISP so stop ****ing being a greedy troll and give me the service I am paying for you greedy *****.

Get a Roku 3 as they actually update the Netflix channel quite often. It has many more channels like Amazon Instant also now included YouTube and is much more reliable as I don't see them ever fixing the crappy Netflix channel on the ATV.

To think last year I bashed the Roku 3 and stupidly sold it to buy a ATV which was great for the 11 days I used it until November 9th, 2013 then it turned to crap then I ended up buying another Roku 3 after they updated the channel which really needed it to have profiles and kids section. 😡:apple:

i haven't has another issue with Netflix on my ATV since I reported that last incident. And from all reports, Netflix and Verizon are going to come up with a Comcast type deal soon. So that should solve all the issues hopefully.
