I'd cancel but my rather old parents use my account and I don't want to confuse them by having to switch anything on the app/tech side. So I'm stuck with it. I really hope they'll get something worth watching one of these days.
You might not feel like it but you’ve missed a lot of great stuff sorry to break it to ya.I have prime as well... and think there should be an award for the number of movies or shows started and turned off within 10 minutes. That is to say it is hard to find something worth watching amungst all the library building filler they have.
I love how everyone defends the writers strike up to the exact moment it then costs them more money LOLThey’re pretending like the writers strike is the reason for this when they’ve been struggling with their business model for years lol.
I wonder how many people will raise their use of the old Jack Sparrow discount to match Netflix's repeated price raises? 🏴☠️![]()
Disney+ since it gives you:Now to decide which one to cancel. Hmmm
I do like HULU since i can record News TV Shows or shows like series. I don’t think that can be done with the others?Disney+ since it gives you:
•Animated movies you’ve already seen
•Superhero movies you’ve already seen
•Superhero shows that are so embarrassingly bad and boring it’s insane
•Star Wars movies you’ve already seen
•Star Wars shows that are boring and garbage
Disney+ has no genre breadth, it’s the least-valuable streaming service.
Netflix is the most-valuable because it gives you the entire swath of all content genres. Moreover, shows like Stranger Things are just astronomically better than anything new on Disney+.
Notice I don’t even bother mentioning Apple TV+ because it’s not worth $0.00/monthi
Canceled a month ago, no regrets at all.
Netflix plans to increase the price of its ad-free subscription plans a few months after the end of the Hollywood actors strike, reports The Wall Street Journal.

Prices will go up in the United States and Canada first, and it is not yet clear how much more Netflix will charge. Netflix last raised prices at the beginning of 2022, charging $9.99 per month for the Basic plan, $15.49 per month for the Standard plan, and $19.99 per month for the Premium plan.
Netflix has since eliminated the Basic plan and added a Standard with ads plan that is priced at $6.99 per month. The company has also ended all multi-household sharing, so Netflix users must reside in the same location to share a Netflix plan, otherwise there is an additional cost for another member slot.
Multiple streaming services have been raising their prices this year. Ad-free Disney+ streaming will soon be $13.99 per month, and ad-free Hulu is going to be $17.99 per month following price hikes set to go live this month. There is no specific word yet on when Netflix will raise prices.

uh, actually everything out there is 4k hdr lmaoAnd you get absolutely ******* picture and sound quality.
I don't pay for it and I don't pirate it. I let them know I have no interest by not consuming it. Same with all other media.
I just spend more time outside or reading on my kindle.
As an option: find someone who has a family 4K and ask them to add you as an extra account (and compensate them for it). Obviously, having a single stream 4K account would make it easier. Maybe Netflix will add this option when they raise the prices.Well the drones all kept Netflix and went out of their way to make sure that Netflix knew cost didn’t matter as long as they had their babysitters.
Sky is the limit. Rake in that cash.
I’ll continue to be one of the few that said enough is enough after being a 4K member since 2011.
Reasonably priced single 4K stream no ads for people that don’t have families is the only carrot that would make me consider coming back.
I canceled with the last price increase. And I just canceled Amazon prime because of the ads being added to my plans. Good luck guys. Time to hit the high seas.

It’s just very odd to me how people speak as if they’re personally offended that a lot of us think Netflix is a garbage company selling overpriced crap. People do it with Apple too, and Elon Musk. These companies and billionaires aren’t gonna pick anybody to be their special boy or whatever 😂 I guess where you find enthusiasts about anything you find very passionate people.I can't speak for that person, but the thing with streaming services is there are legit reasons to love and hate each one of them. ATV+, Dsn+, Hulu, HBO Max, etc. "One person's trash is another person's treasure" truly applies here.
This isn’t 2005. We can literally choose our resolution and bitrate, subtitle source, etc.And you get absolutely ******* picture and sound quality.
Works cited?LOL @ all the people here saying "Cancelled!" but when Apple raises prices it's "TAKE MY MONEY!"
Build your own tv & movie server. That is what I did. Much better than Netflix and I don't have to worry about titles leaving.Guess it will be a pirate's life for me.
Of things you own. BluRays and DVDs are cheap.Build your own tv & movie server. That is what I did. Much better than Netflix and I don't have to worry about titles leaving.
