Well ****. Quad cores in 2020... when we could have eight... great... so it’s like... slightly faster than my 2018... probably still runs hot, loud, and slow... Well they’re not getting my money with this Intel “10th gen” hot garbage.

Well this seals the deal for me, Apple’s going ARM. Otherwise the decision to stick with Intel when far better options exists makes no sense.

You obviously have no clue what you're talking about.

This seems like a good move, assuming there will also be a 14" later.

I have to admit, seeing, 8GB on the base models is good and bad. Bad because well, less RAM is less. But good because that might indicate that Apple believes 8GB RAM to be usable for a reasonable period in the futrue.

You were expecting 6 or 8 cores from a 13" MacBook Pro?

Amazing! For those that previously were paying the $200 upgrade costs for each of 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, this is a massive price drop! PLUS you get a newer processor and a better keyboard!
Even the i7 upgrade is $100 cheaper than before. This makes the i7 16/512 option $500 cheaper than before!

This is just dissapointing.

- No wifi 6.
- No 14".
- No upgrade in the graphics department (still uses iris plus), is that a pro device for creators?
- Base model still uses intel 8th generation.
- Same bezzels
- 4 cores cpu

Worth the update? definetely not,
Who is going to buy this machine? People who were planning to buy the previous 2019 but wanted a bigger ssd and better keyboard.
