So when Apple announces the 5se do you think they will mention how much ram it contains or will we have to wait for someone to open it?

Hmm I'd bet you'd have to wait unless they make it a point to present the similarities to the flagship 6s

Such ignorant? If you're going to critique others, it would be better to use proper grammar. Please. You don't even know me. I don't need to say Mauritania to raise eyebrows.
If you don't have anything else to add, then I rest my case. I pointed out my support experience amongst some Android OEMs and Apple, and those experience formed my point of Apple support being better.

Not one way. The better way. You just said Apple support was foolproof. So it's a better way to provide support. Yes go be a developer/engineer and get predictive dialing and change apples fortune because they need you.

So you're saying that as if Apple makes the best software and hardware. It's not like they could put a little more effort and make even more profits or anything. Apple apologists make me laugh.

It would also be great if Apple made the space gray an even darker gray color to make it stand out adding to the "special edition"

It doesn't change that there are multiple ways to be successful. HTC has been great to me. They don't use stores with Girt coming in. I have already said Apple has good support. I am just saying that the prices aren't worth it for the return. You're not convincing me of anything anyways. Your experience is relative too. I am sure tons of people have bad experiences with Apple too. It's bound to happen.

I also laugh at anti-Apple extremists.

Anti Apple extremists? Really when I am using a 6S Plus right now? When I own a MacBook Pro 2015. Sure tell me how I am anti Apple again?

No I said Apple support is better than the competition. I never said Apple makes the best software and hardware. They offer the complete package though. Nice hardware, clean easy to learn interface, and top notch support. So simple that process is for success yet others can't replicate it yet.

There are different ways to be successful. All the real data shows apples way as more effective. The price isn't worth it to you, fine. You're not convincing me either. I'm sure there's bad experiences with Apple. But I'm also sure overall Apple support is top notch.

You can own Apple products and be biased too. It's nobody's fault if you're unhappy yet still using Apple products. But your own.

You're also forgetting that Apple already had a foothold in the US. The iPod was a major product years ago. It didn't just start yesterday. The general attitude of the main board is that people treat Apple as if they have the best everything. Let's make it relative to 2013. The 5S didn't have VoLTE, Wifi Calling, 4K cameras, etc, so how could that be considered complete relatively speaking? I refuse to waste $ on a 4.7" iPhone or 4" iPhone, especially given the spec decreases. Hell, even the iPhone 6 had refresh issues with Safari tabs due to 1gb. I love my 6S Plus, but let's face it, then predecessor was problematic. Apple has its own share of faults and I am trying to tell you folks that they lag behind. So being top doesn't mean slow to the punch. It means being among the best and having some of the top features. I don't have wireless charging, quick charge, etc. It took till the 6S and 6S Plus to get a front facing camera worth a damn.

I'd suggest you to have your iPhone checked then, because according with every good review, the iPhone 5S isn't the best phone , battery life wise, but still performing very well...

I simply can't let this one go - lots of old-ish Android phones stacked against new iPhone - come on. My Z3 will last at least two plus days with average use. The Xperia phones are renowned for battery life but the old Z1 is quoted, do me a favour?????

50% price drop of the 5S? Unlikely. Maybe just a signal on market price of used 5S.

So this year's lineup will be SE, 6S, and 7? Apple ditching the A8 so quickly. Still, it's great for budget centric consumers.
When Apple decided to cripple the 6\6+ with 1gb of RAM and a sub par GPU for the 6+, they basically resigned their fate to be obsoleted at about the same time as the 5S. They'll be an iOS version in the next year or so that's going to run like crap on 1gb of RAM(you can basically argue that it already does)

No when extremes or hyperbole is posted as to what I replied to.

I am not unhappy. I have a tremendous experience with my 6S Plus and MBP.

Right? 32 should be the new base. I don't know why 16 is still even a thing.

It's because a large number of iPhone purchasers don't take lots of videos, store music, need a lot of apps. etc. As a result, 16GB for that segment is fine.

If your needs are greater simply purchase one with more memory.

I don't care so much about the cost, but otherwise, it's sounding nearly perfect.... IF it has 2GB of RAM.

I think, though, that to keep selling the 5s at a reduced price is a mistake. That phone will very likely be obsolete (or may as well be) with the next couple of iOS updates. It's not a good deal if it doesn't work well or provide a good user experience. Apple is making way too many poor user experiences these days.
Apple usually sells an iPhone for 3 years and only sells it at a minimum of $450 off contract after 2 newer iPhones come out, so being $225 is really cheap for Apple.

Thank goodness you are here to tell everyone.

If I wanted the best spec sheet then id buy an android phone, im more interested in the real world user experience combining hardware, software and service. For me Apple still does that best.

It's more like Apple wants to maximize profits and know people will buy a 32, 64, or 128gb device over the 16gb. Memory upgrades are so dirt cheap in the manufacturing process, yet they can get away with $50-$100 per additional memory upgrade.

I haven't had one problem with the Nexus 5X. It doesn't have the highest specs either. I am not saying Android is the best. I am just saying there are better options out there if people want them.

I'm pretty sure the 16gb is still pretty popular.

I don't really see potential for this phone, premium pricing with tiny screen. Hope at least that the design will be something spectacular.

There is obviously a large segment of people out there that would rather have the smaller phone than the larger screen. I'm one of them. The only reason I carry a 6S is because of the tech inside. I still miss the 4S. Nicest phone Apple ever made.
