I wish Apple would allow us to do forced update with the AirPods(Pro). It seems to be a real hit and miss to get it updated the current Apple way.
I agree I have tried to update my 2 sets of Air pods pro and it never works. I have tried ever youtube video and it dose not work.

They skipped the AirPods gen 2; That’s because if you loose these you’ll cry a lot more than just saying oh snap I’ll get another set. :p

So with this update Find My can find AirPod Pros in the case. It can also semi locate and beep the AirPod Pros inside the case, although the beep sound is rather muted.

Edit: This is using an iPhone 8 Plus with iOS 15.1 beta 2.

Es por eso queThat's why I love Apple always giving the best for its users.

Notify When Left Behind is grayed out and says „Not Supported“ on my iPhone, yet it is still „On“. I can seem to toggle it from my iPad and Mac‘s Find My Apps which is odd cause the location is coming from my phone. Smells like yet another iOS 15 bug.

Yeah, I've updated to the latest firmware for my APPs and have noticed no change to FindMy from pre-firmware update - iPhone 13 Pro running 15.0.1

Have restarted the phone as well.

EDIT: Update: I reset my APPs and re-paired them with my iPhone that prompted the FindMy integration to activate properly. Suggest anyone else having issues should do the same (follow the full reset procedure on Apple's website).

Now they just need to have the case itself be able to play a sound too. Play a sound feature doesn't do much good with the headphones in the case.

Or is the find my technology not even in the case itself??
That is true, they should make the "find my" work with the case. I think most of the time, it would be that the iPods are in the case and that was forgotten.

Synched my AirPods Max to my 13 iPhone Pro Max on iOs 15.0.1. After a few minutes, I found the firmware had updated on the headphones to the current version. I then disconnected the AirPods Max and synched the AirPods Pro. Doing the steps in post #31 above, in a few minutes the AirPods were updated as well. Really a fairly painless exercise that used less than an hour of my time while doing other computer work.
