New Apple Leather Case

I initially got the yellow colour but it discoloured and got dirty instantly. Like in one day, just by being in my pocket. So I took it back and exchanged it for blue. Not much better IMO. So I now have the brown. I still think these cases will show the dirt quickly.
Totally agree. I'm normally a naked guy but I'm digging the black leather so far.
I agree. After switching from red, black looks so sleek and minimalistic. The finish in my opinion is great!
I have a red. I only use it when not at work as it would get too dirty.
I'm hoping it doesn't get too bad, but someone I know is also selling a black for £25 brand new. Am tempted simply as reading on here it doesn't mark as much and get dirty. But to spend £60 on 2 cases is a little extreme to me.
Although I have to say in normally naked # but with media devil front and back on and my iPhone 5 is defiantly better to use/hold with it on. I really like the case.

My Spigen Crumena basically fell apart today, I think it's fate after I've been looking at this case... 
But now I'm at a crossroads. I've used a pouch for a year and a bit now, and not sure if I could go back to a case. I wish Apple made a leather pouch as well!

Hmmm, iPhone 4 had problems with the signal strength due to how the phone was held, release a bumper insulating the antennae. iPhone 5 had problems with phone denting and scratching easily, Apple release a case which protects all the aluminium. I am so cynical

Just got mine and want to say that the buttons are much better than I expected them to be after reading some very negative comments elsewhere (surprisingly little mention in this thread).
I use the volume + button for the camera a lot and find it still feels fine with the Apple case.

I got black leather for 5S just because I have store credit, I am sure it will not last long, remember what happened with leather covers for ipad? Getting dirty, scratchy, faded very quick.
I have a blue and black iPad mini smart covers. Blue one got really dirty with dirt collecting on it turning brown. Washed it in the sink with soap and water, now it looks brand new.
I'm now on my second black Apple case. The first one was very noticeably bowed out on the sides. Now, the lightning port on the second one is misaligned just enough so the Lightning / 30-pin adapter cable won't fit through the hole.
Too many QC issues with this case so far. I'm going to return this one as well and stick with my Magpul Field Case.
Hopefully, they can get the manufacturing issues under control for this case.

Questions about the new Apple leather cases for iPhone 5s?
1. They also fit iPhone 5 right? I mean- it's the exact same sizes and shape....
2. Is it protective enough? Does it has bumps around the screen to softer the fall and prevent it from landing ON the glass?

Nope, and don't think I will. I can already see the case getting dirty since I work in the not so cleanest environment. Probably just clean it off with some leather cleaner anyway.
