New Apple Leather Case

I just picked mine up. Quick question, is there supposed to be a small gab between the case and the phone just above the lightning port?

I notices that on both of the cases that I had.

I actually think it was this way on my og belkin candy sheer case back when I had the iPhone 5 at launch. But I would love to get a consensus of who has this and who doesn't.

I just got my red one today, love it! I had the black one since release day and still looks like new. I'll be switching between the two.

I have some carbon apple stickers on it. I love how the black one looks with the red apple.

I just noticed the tiniest gap between the headphone jack and the case. I think because the phone isn't completely square it isn't possible for the bottom and top edge to be completely 'plum'. We just can't tel because the top is covered.

Not that I don't trust you, but that I can show the people at my local Apple Store, so they don't give me the "old" ones...

I honestly forgot where I got them as I got them a year ago with a carbon skin I got for my iPhone 5. But a quick google search can get you some from etsy.

I've noticed my phone picks up a lot more visible dust than I had thought it would...What gives? Static of some sort attracting it to the screen? Would a protector (glass/film) help the cause?

I first opted out of the screen protector option in favor of apple care along with the leather case. but all this dust has me thinking of putting something else on top of the screen too

A coworker picked up a red Apple leather case at the Apple store in St. Louis while in town for a Cardinals game...and although I'm not crazy about the red color, I like the thinness & feel. I'm thinking about getting a black one soon.

Does the black case attract a lot of pocket lint when the phone is carried in dress pant or jeans pockets? Also...do the corners get "shiny"?
