New Apple Leather & Silicon Cases for iPhone X

LOL!!! I'll shoot a couple tomorrow under natural daylight -- it's dark right now and artificial light just isn't the same. Since I also have the Spicy Orange silicon, too, I'll shoot one or two images showing them together as well. My iPhone X usually is naked at home, but when going out I do want some protection so have been using Apple's folio case (in Black) and the silicon orange case. The new leather case feels a little slipperier in the hand than the silicon, but not unduly so. I do love the the color -- orange is absolutely my most favorite color. I wish Apple would come out with a leather Bright Orange watch strap now, too. Yes, I know there is the Hermes Feu one, but at least at the present time it is only available in the 42" size, which is really too large for my wrist.

I already had the Spicy Orange silicon case but I really do think the orange hue in the leather version looks much better -- richer, deeper color.

The Leather Bright Orange addresses my problem with the Spicy Orange in having a much stronger Orange - not the pasty one on the Silicone, and not being a fluff magnet.

The new leather case feels a little slipperier in the hand than the silicon, but not unduly so. I do love the the color -- orange is absolutely my most favorite colour.

This was my concern, but it's been ok over the weekend. Another problem with the Silicone being a fluff magnet is it feels dusty (dirty) very quickly, while the Leather just feels "nice".

I wish Apple would come out with a leather Bright Orange watch strap now, too. Yes, I know there is the Hermes Feu one, but at least at the present time it is only available in the 42" size, which is really too large for my wrist.

I have the original Orange Sport Band, and the (when new) Leather Bright Orange is really close, a tad deeper even. Now with my Space Grey Apple Watch and the black screen with Bright Orange Leather case, they look like variations of the same theme!

Definitely a keeper.

I got impatient and went and bought my own. Not going to lie, the box scared me. It looks red. Opened the product though and it's a nice, new traffic cone orange color.

Oops, totally forgot to do what I had promised....and actually, the natural light today was pretty gloomy and darkish, with rain on-and-off throughout the day..... Yes, in spite of what the box shows, the color of this new leather Bright Orange iPhone X case is a wonderful, rich orange!

I'd recommend the Product Red case as opposed to the midnight blue one. I have the Product Red one and love how it looks on my iPhone 7, the color is just a really great shade. My husband has the midnight blue on his, and it just doesn't look as nice as I thought it would. But it really just boils down to what you prefer, of course. We both currently have the Space Grey iPhone 7. If you are buying it at Apple directly, they usually have cases available for you to try on your phone.

Plus, getting the Product Red one will go to a good cause, which is a nice plus.

IMHO leather cases are possibly the best combination of style, comfort, and protection on any iPhone. Leather is a soft but durable cushion material, so that any impact from drops and falls are effectively absorbed by the leather case instead of being transmitted directly to the phone.

Yes, leather is more expensive, but you get what you pay for. And the Apple leather iPhone cases are beautifully done.

I need this. . . How is it that I have been to the Apple store twice this week and didn't think to look at them?! Might be time to retire my white silicone (which looks more off white like the watch band).

I decided not to use cases anymore, since the stainless band got scratched up pretty badly by switching cases (multiple colours) often. Been using without a case for 2 months now and no problemo, just 1 silly little scratch on the band.
