I sense reading millions of comments throughout the day complaining about lack of Bluetooth. Personally, i hated the Bluetooth pro mouse (mainly the battery life) so it has been sitting in my drawer for the past few months while I use my trusty USB pro mouse. Haven't found anything better.

Fishes,
narco.

Incredible. Finally a hopefully decent multibutton/config mouse and NO BLUETOOTH. Are they serious? After multbuttons, wireless is the next mousey stage of development and they didn't bother bringing one to market.

I really hope this means there is also a Power Mouse in the wings for sometime soon...

SWEET!

Perfect timing :p The battery cover on my Microsoft Bluetooth mouse broke last weekend. It's been sliding around on its batteries ever since. I was hoping I could hold out until Apple pulled this cat out of the bag :D

Just created an order for a new iMac, and the Might Mouse is not noted anywhere as stock or even BTO????
C'mon, Apple. This needs to be the standard mouse shipping with your computers.

PC compatible, windows XP / 2K

Bluetooth, we're waiting for you... oh! and Laser.
Can we get a U2 version as well?

Looks pretty cool, but I don't know how much I'd like touch sensitive instead of clickers.

edit: I actually like that it has a cable, though. I've always had trouble with wireless mice connecting to my computer. Plus, they're too heavy and the batteries need to be replaced often.

It looks like it still clicks mechanically, the sensors just tell it if the click is supposed to be a right click or a left click.

I can't see why they wouldn't have BT because it would really limit who can use it. I bet less than 1/2 of all Mac users have BT. More importantly, I thought I'd never see they day. How long until this becomes the standard mouse?

Nice (and thank God) - as soon as they bring out a Bluetooth version, I'm in. Anyone like to pull a time scale out of the air?

They way I understand it the touch sensitive portion only detects where you click on the mouse, there is still the button to click.

Edit: beaten by decksnap. darnit

WOW............Apple multibutton mouse........yeah

Looks very good :D :D

Now get it shipping with every new Mac ;)

What do you think this means for trackpads?

My baby Powerbook only has the one, beautiful button... when the intel PBs come out, are they gonna have a little nub, and four buttons?

OK, if this isn't coming to australia I'm gonna be so ticked off - it's exactly what i want to get rid of this microsoft monstrosity.

Noooossa!

Man, there is something big, really big indeed, happening at Cupertinno. First, Intel. Them, not only 2, but a 4 button mouse, with scrollwell!

Holy God, this world is going through some changes...

Yeah!!

The audio feedback built into Mighty Mouse provides an aural sensation that responds to your movements. A tiny speaker inside Mighty Mouse produces button-clicking and Scroll Ball-rolling sound effects.
Seems cheasy??

You can get it with the Mac Mini, along with wired Keyboard for $78

I just checked for iMac, eMac, and PowerMac, and it seems like it isn't in the BTO page yet...

It makes sense to add it to the mini page first, though. Get all those windows switchers! :)
