A 2009 Flying Apps Odyssey

I thought it was an update of 2001!

Howsabout a dance mashup of Thus Spake Zarathusta:)

Looks to me like there are a few missing. I dont see the facebook app or the Sports Illustrated app.. They need an update already :apple:

Loops every 4 seconds. Would be better if it went through all million apps that are currently available...

WOW, my son did something very similar with the pictures on mis dell.
but instead he had pictures stop while others went flying by.
Thats pretty amazing apple programmers can compete with refreshman animation students

well considering apple has great connections anyway; Pixar animators and all these agencies in the area.

id reckon its a bit different then throwing together a simple animation structure; but Itd be better off a tad slower and atleast a bit wider or horizontal if anything ...i get that its an iphone display, just seems to confined.

but very cool set up actually

Any one know if these displays are in NYC too? I assume they would have one at the 5th Ave store.

Looks to me like it may have been put together using that "core animation" stuff that allowed for those cities of album covers. Same tech, different application of it.

Thats just my uneducated eye tho.

Wow, are you really this simple? Do you think apple has programmers sitting around making stuff like this up? You should have your son take his Dell and apply for a job at the ad agency who dreamt it up.

Myself, this kind of meh, but it does get the point across that Apple has one heck of a lot of apps...

The Apple Store in the West Edmonton Mall (Edmonton, AB, Canada) has the same thing, but the back screen is a poster and the iPhone is the only animated element. A bit easier on the eyes...

Yeah, but not @ 5th ave (That I've seen, at least. . .)

But there's one @ 14th & 9th. . . like 3 weeks ago.

/me was WICKED surprised to see this make the page. . . but it's still pretty cool :D
