Haven’t these products been launching “this month” for like 3 months now?

Lol ok then, that’s helpful 😂
No no…

The overnight refresh on nov 11th is a holiday one for sure. Red shirt season in apple retail starts nov 12th

amazing how these people at Bloomberg still get paid real money writing things like “Apple will launch something next week but if it doesn’t happen it will happen eventually”. Always have some get out of jail card. So what is the point of anything you write then? I mean everyone knows that something will happen eventually 🤣
What Bloomberg is actually writing:

“On the evening of Nov. 11, employees will be tasked with refreshing store displays and product placements for the following day. That kind of event often signals that something new is coming, but given the timing, it’s more likely related to setting up stores for the holiday season.”

Pretty sad how the MR editor twists this around tbh...

Audio passthrough or DV2 support are the only two relevant new features I could see for next appleTV other than turbo obvious spec bump/AI. If next AppleTV has proper audio passthrough implementation I upgrade my Nvidia shield pro day 1. But at this point I am pretty confident Apple could not care less about home theater/audio enthusiasts. I would love to be wrong though

I’ve always thought that these two products would be announced at the same time but from looking online I can’t see stock restraints for the Apple TV nearly as much as I can for the HomePod mini.

I guess there might be more to market for the HomePod mini if it’s updated now minus any AI features:

- on-device old Siri thanks to a newer chip
- improved sound quality
- improved connectivity
- new colours

I might just give the new homepod a whirl... have been wavering for a while but didnt want to buy into a slower chip.

I believe there's a typo in the sentence "During its earnings call earlier this week, Apple seemingly suggested that any more new Macs are off the table for the rest of 2026.." I think they meant to say "..for the rest of 2025...". One would hope there would be some new Mac products launching in 2026. Someone is keeping TSMC busy, and it isn't just AMD or nVidia.

I’m really not sure what to tell you.

A three-year-old Apple product is not one that should be purchased when we are on the doorstep of a new version.
And again, we have been on this doorstep for 2 years now.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the current version of the Apple TV that people should hold out on buying.

When, and only when a new model is announced should people then make a decision.

Until then-buy away.
