I’m impressed with them. Much better bass and ear seal than my APPs. Phone calls are clear on both ends. Nice that I can pull one bud out and scratch an itch without halting what I’m listening to. Looking forward to less charging interruptions.

can someone please check if these ear plugs compact & soft enough to sleep sideways?
very hard finding decent sleep phones these days. tnx

ps- naa they seem too bulky.

I can sleep sideways with them, but I wake up after a couple of hours and take them out. This is my first pair of wireless earbuds, and they seem comfortable to me.

If you get foam replacement tips like comply it makes sleeping on the side easier

It is possible to sleep with them if the fit is correct, and your ears are dry! Otherwise they slip further in and start hurting.

It also helps if you position your head so that only the top of the side of your head is actually on a pillow. ymmv

Turn them off if you are falling asleep and don’t want to be woken by the jingle when the battery gets low.

I know... why after all these years of lightning ports....why not like the APP’s case/cable
I wish it was still lightning too. I mostly use these headphones with my iPad mini and iPhone which are lightning, and it would be really convenient to use the same cable to charge. Either that or the iPad mini and iPhone get usbc.

I haven’t used APPs but if what you say is true, they must have negative bass because the bass on the flex is nonexistent.
I fully agree with the reviewer’s assessment (starting from 5:46). Sound quality is blah, but for those who don’t care too much about that these headphones still offer good value in other ways.

I’ve never tried AirPods, but I’ve had Beats Flex for a while.
  • for listening to music: forget about it.
  • for doing a call: the mic kind of picks up on a lot of noise. If it brushes up against your shirt, people will hear. (This may be a Teams-specific problem.)
  • for listening to podcasts, it’s fine. I take them on walks and the audio is good enough to hear voice.

I think music quality is really average. Talking is good since it uses Apple chip but has to be stable, if someone is moving then this design is bad that it would move around neck.
