They replied fairly quickly and where very friendly.

Thanks, had to create an account. I guess I just paid as a guest the first time around, but it's OK, I had my order # from my email that I received so I was able to fill out a ticket. Fingers crossed they send me replacments that are in better shape than the ones I received. Still really bummed they both crapped out in less than a day. Great bumpers and great price.

My transparent bumper is still in great shape going on two weeks now. Been pocketing my phone daily, and using it in the gym too.

Hopefully those who received faulty ones will get speedy replacements

I haven't had a chance to put on the back protector yet...... the only one I'll be using is for the back of my iPhone..... I don't think that the actual screen needs a protector. I'll post back with my impressions when I install it.

The back protector looks great....... it's cut well, and it was easy to apply. I can barely tell that there is any film on the back of my iPhone. It shows fingerprints in a similar way to how the naked back shows them. Pretty sweet for $2.10.

Oh, and the bumper does not lift the edges of the back protector at all.

I received a reply back from customer support of SW-Box - pretty much all they said were "Sorry" and they wanted me to take pictures so they could check it out with their quality control of their warehouse. They didn't even offer a replacement. :(

Well what the hell else would one want when you email a company telling them that within 12 hours of usage both of their products fell apart? Are they really that dumb?

Well, when I contacted them, they first offered to send me a replacement with my next purchase.

I of course replied that I wasn't gonna order anything for the time being.

They answered that they will send the replacement.

The item (******) left Hong Kong for its destination on 10-Dec-2010

They time travel over there

Damn...

The website failed to retrieve the Address Line 2 from my Paypal account.

Now the postman have no idea where to send my bumper to.

I received mine today along with a few other items. It appears to be the official Apple dock in less-than-official packaging. It's a very nice piece, but it did require a bit of Dremel Tool massaging to get it to fully seat with the bumper on. I had to slightly round off the top side edges of the slot (in effect making it wider) to accommodate the iPhone w/bumper. It still needed more downward pressure on the phone than I liked, so I carved out some of the plastic in the bottom on either side of the connector with the Dremel.

The phone now seats easily in the dock. The gloss white look was sacrificed in hidden places to make it work, but I'm very happy with the result.

BTW, this was my 2nd order for bumpers and I have had no problem with any of them. Other than SW-Box having colors not offered by Apple, the only difference I can see is that the buttons are plastic vs. metal on the Apple Store versions.

i have just received my white/transparent bumpers. they are fantastic. they ONLY problem i had was the power button on the bumper. when i put the case on the phone the button would press on the iphones button causing it lock/unlock/turn on/off etc etc. i just had to sort of massage the metal button for it to stop and sort of "lift" it a bit. apologies if that makes absolutely no sense, ive had a LONG day  .

10/10 on these bumpers. they fit great, look great, and work great (after some button massaging). hopefully my buttons dont start to fall off like you guys/gals, i really love these bumpers. it really baffles me how someone would pay 30 dollars for apple's bumper when you can get one for 4.20 plus shipping. i ordered 2 of the same color for 14 shipped  . if you go to sw-box.com they are having a 10% off sale for the holidays. im actually using my 30 pin connector cover from my clear switcheasy vulcan to go with my bumper, the fit is perfect and it also matches the transparent part 100%.

You guys need to explain in more details how you dealt with the "power button being to sensitive issue" lol

No, really...

No, really...

I applied massaging pressure to the bottom of the power button with my thumb (pushing out towards the outside of the frame) until it almost seemed to click into place. It became looser (while the bumper wasn't on the iPhone).

Clearer?

lol they're 16 hours ahead of us

what other house tools can i use , i dont have a Dremel

You'll need a grinding tool that will take small bits and can reach into tight places. Cheap Chinese versions can be had for around $10. Handy to have around for a multitude of projects. I use mine a couple of times a week.

why do they make these fake apple bumpers with the small cut out for the chargers

I understand why apple does it, so people would use there cable

but whats the thinking in these third party companies

The black/transparent bumper fits on a couple of charging cables that the Apple Bumper couldn't.

i too received my black/transparent today.

I was loving it, until i pulled it out of my pocket and the beloved volume down button was missing...yes i did find it in my pocket. it does seem that these are not very well put together.

Overall, very satisfied for $8

Lol you're all making me feel like I'm carrying a ticking time bomb. Hopefully my buttons will stay intact!!

With all of these reports about buttons falling off, there's no way that "Cecilia" at SW-Box needed pictures for "quality control" purposes from their warehouse. They just didn't want to offer a replacement without me asking. For $4.20 it really isn't worth my trouble. Both of mine broke in 1 day without me even really using them, the glue simply just...seems to fall off between the metal buttons and the plastic piece that it snaps into. But the quality is good...aside from that. Unfortunately if you don't have the buttons you can't use it.

It isn't worth your trouble to snap a few photos with your iPhone and email them? If I were them, I'd want proof as well. What company would send you a free replacement without proof?

"all of these reports about buttons falling off"- I've only seen three or four reports in this thread. That doesn't make it an epidemic. My guess is that the majority of customers are happy with their bumpers.....I know that I am.

Perhaps the bumpers you bought were from a bad batch or something. I've put and pulled my iPhone out of my pocket more times than I can count since I received these bumpers, and they've held up just fine.
