Got my replacement case a few days ago. The shipping was really fast. But, now my replacement case cracked near the volume rocker. I've only used my replacement case twice. I was very careful this time when installing and removing it.

Probably due to it being made from cheap leather although I'm not convinced it is even leather looking at the way it has worn for some and the way it felt when I looked at them in the Apple Store.

It's definitely leather, just doesn't wear very well. And it's ridiculously overpriced for what it is.

But all a moot point since I'll never go back to that case. Happy with my Veil XT still, just waiting on additional colors to be released.

I just order one for my iPhone 6 Plus.

I'm curious with the ring raised around the camera for protection, is there any wobble when you lay it flat on its back?

I have the iphone 6 version and there is a slight wobble. However, it had more wobble when it had no case at all.

Thanks. Can anyone that has a Veil XT on a 6 Plus confirm if there is a slight wobble when laying the iPhone on its back?

What are you guys's overall opinion on the case? I might give it a try cause I'd want a thinner alternative.

Confirmed the 6 plus has a slight wobble. But less than with no case.

Cheers, thanks for confirming.

Any tips on removing the case for cleaning?

I read their instruction guide but want to see if there are any tips on the best way to remove the case without damaging?

I love mine. Ever since I received my replacement from Caudabe, it's been smooth sailing. Can't use any other case now.

For removal, I just followed the installation instructions. I think the key is to not use too much force. But the method they suggest seems to work pretty well. The corners just sort of slide off if you apply very gentle and gradual pressure. I don't take mine off much though and I imagine you'd probably run the risk of breaking it eventually if you're constantly taking it on and off.

Yeah I developed a crack by the headphone jack on my XT. An email and some photos of the crack and 1 week later I just got a replacement in the mail.

Caudabe's customer service is exceptional!

Regarding the crack around the headphone jack, was this from removing it or from plugging your headphones roughly?

Those of you guys who have this case, do you find it slippery at all? I'm totally digging the thinness and minimalistic side of it, but I'm just concerned that if it's slippery it'll be easier to drop, and from what I know this case doesn't protect from drops right?

It's definitely slippery. That's the only knock I have on this case.

Correct, due to the thinness of the case don't expect much drop protection from it, it's mainly for scratches on the back.

That being said, it also doesn't have a front extruding lip/bezel to protect the screen if you're laying it face down, so be wary of doing so and scratching the screen if you're not using a screen protector.

Got one today for my 6+. Giant waste of money. The seam on the side is noticeable, and the cutouts not centered properly.

Hmmm, didn't have that problem for me, got mine a few days ago. Everything lines up, yes the seam is slightly noticeable but doesn't stick when touching the sides.

You have 30 days to return it if you're satisfied or just exchange it for another.

Not sending it half way across the world to return it at that price. Also, even without those issues it doesn't seem any better than the noname shell they have at a local store - rather the contrary.

They might be able to send you a one time replacement. Send them an email with some pics showing the issues you have. They were able to send me a replacement due to my case cracking. They said they normally don't send warranty replacements outside the USA but they were able to make an exception for me. Their customer service was very good, but, my second case also cracked after just a few days.

That's what I'm reading from the Amazon reviews. I'm also interested in thin. But thinness combined with slipperiness on a big phone that's not the easiest to hold doesn't sound like a good combination.

Where did you get your crack and how did it happen if you don't mind me asking?

I've had my case for a week now with no issues.

On my first case the crack was on the headphone jack area and the second replacement case cracked at the volume rocker. Both of the cracks happened when I was removing the case. After I got my second replacement case I was very careful when removing the case and followed the instructions that came with the case. I'm sure most people won't if this issue if they don't remove the case that often or at all.

Yeah, I don't think it's a good idea to remove the case often. I absolutely love the case, but it's just not designed for constant removal. The good thing is that unlike thicker cases I've had, I don't really have a desire to take off this one. I've just kept mine on since I got it.

Forget about removing it often, sadly, you can't remove it even once without it cracking.

These cases are so slim and look great - like nothing at all. But boy are they slippery. I find that taking it off. Is easiest if you gently put your thumb nails underneath the bottom corners and push down and off the phone.

I don't remove mine much, but I've definitely removed it a few times without cracking it. Are you guys following the installation instructions? Those worked pretty well. The key I found is to just apply pressure from the corner with your thumbs and gradually the corner slides off. Once one corner slides off, the other corner is really easy to slide off too.
