I get exited when I see their plans. It's no benefit if vendors in the wake of selling the iPhone charge one over 200 per month for two phone lines.
YES! Just what I was waiting to see on the front page. However, I've lost interest in T-Mobile after what happened yesterday -- 4 hours of no service due to an earthquake in Virginia was just unacceptable.
I don't think that a 1-yr old iPhone is going to combat Android growth.
Android has its own new phones (like at least half a dozen of them) due out in the same time period.
The Samsung Galaxy S II in particular seems to be garnering a lot of attention.
Sprint is a 'low cost' carrier where I live. They often give 'free' upgrades of their $100 phones if you sign a new contract with them. Most people who are eligible are eyeing the EVO. Iphone might make the list if it is $100 or less....so I guess it comes down to whether they can hit that price point.
Maybe get rid of the front facing camera, cheaper glass faces and smaller storage?

And there it is...
one phone to rule them all.

Also the fact that their new cheap plan really comes pretty close to Verizon's plans when you compare apples to apples -- no pun intended. I was thinking of switching to T-Mobile from Verizon (gasp) to save a few bucks, but when you throw in that monthly $15 charge that T-Mobile charges to offset the phone cost and THEN pick the plan that closely represents what you might have with Verizon, you only end up saving about 15 -20 bucks.YES! I can't take the excitement anymore. We are getting closer to the day when everyone in the world will have an iPhone and no other phones will be sold!!! Think about it! We can all be a member of the knowing elite!! But who will we gloat over? We've all been bragging about being different, but in reality we are all the same. Kind of depressing, isn't it?

Which is definitely legitimate money over the course of a year, but then (until the near future) you realize they have no iPhone offering and questionable coverage in some areas, it seems just as good to spend the extra 20 bucks a month.
I think when that days comes we'll start to turn on each other. "We don't talk to Bob. He has a 16gb iPhone. We have 64gb iPhones. He's fish sticks, we're caviar."
One phone that works across all carriers would be incredible. I won't sign another contract. Pay for the phone outright and if the service sucks.... bite me carrier A I'm moving carrier B. See how fast rates come down then.
This is certainly a great way to combat Android growth.
A lot of Android sales were due to users being locked into their provider and unable to get an iPhone.
Why bother? Although it's unfortunate, AT&T will own TMo in six months anyway. /sadTMobileCustomer
The T-Mobile Value Family Plan Unlimited blows Verizon's Unlimited Family Plan out of the water. If T-Moblile has good coverage where you need it, it can't be beat price wise.
