Can weird be good? Yes. Is Nintendo good when they’re weird? Sometimes. Nintendo is better when they’re cool. Miitomo was not cool. Classic Nintendo (NES, SNES, N64) arguably was the coolest. More coolness.
Absolutely not, but I wouldn't pay $30 for a game cartridge (they still use those?) either at this time. Nor would I buy a Game Boy. However, I would be willing to pay $5 for Mario on my iPhone. They would need to compete with current game prices.
I've heard rumors the upcoming Nintendo NX is going back to cartridge technology since disc read times are too slow. Plus you can store way more data on a cartridge now than you can on a disc.Absolutely not, but I wouldn't pay $30 for a game cartridge (they still use those?) either at this time. This right here. I picture a boardroom full of Japanese men in their 50's and 60's trying to figure out how to make Nintendo hip...I think Nintendo needs to hire new blood so that they can have fresh ideas and remove old blockers.
Nintendo games are $30 where you're from? Here a first party 3DSgame is $40-45 and Wii U reaching $60-70I hugely disagree on your point about price. Price should be proportional to the amount of content.
A lot of $5 are so cheap because there's so little to do in them. You play for less than 5 hours and you've done everything.
Nintendo games generally offer 30 hours of content, and so justify their $30 price tags.
