Fantastic monitor. Text could be a little sharper in OS X though. I run this on my Mac Mini. If anyone has a fix for unsharp text, please let me know.
What do you mean by "unsharp" r u from some reason connected through DVI -> VGA, if so that could be source of blurred picture. The best option for that screan is DVI to DVI. Also try calibrating an experimenting with the gamma value. For instance I find my custom gamma value much better than the one that was automatically applied to the screen. You might be willing to apply one of those colour profiles (attached), they r all custom made profiles for various screens. Personally, I often find my own settings much better the default ones. But of course, to great extent that will be a matter of taste.

I couldn't wait any longer so I called Dell directly last Friday (8/28). The salesperson wouldn't honor the expired 20%+10% coupons but he did take 10% off after some nagging on my part. The final price came out to be $245.65.

Estimated shipping was 4-5 weeks, but I checked the status today and to my pleasant surprise saw that it had shipped on 8/31, with an expected delivery date of 9/4!!!

Counting the minutes until I get my hands on the monitor. :D

yeah dont be fooled be the outrageous shipping dates from the time i ordered mine to the time it came to my house it had been no more than 1 week, dell's shipping is awesome

I just ordered one of these babies after doing some research.

Dell Australia is running a promo - $50 off (which is around 12% off) until 24th of Sept.

It better be good :p

Back around when you did, I also nagged the salesperson and ended up getting the monitor for $225.xx ($208 plus tax). They had to charge it at a higher price, then do a refund.
