My Mom got one (her first ever Mac) a few months ago and she loves it. She was getting so paranoid with the Windows security issues that she was afraid to even go online anymore, but not now that she has a Mac.

But underneath the grilles are the same silver speakers--and the grilles are optional/removable. It depends if you want protection, or slightly better sound (and looks).
