John Hodgman (PC Guy) has a free audiobook out on iTunes right now...kinda twisted but funny. Check it out - Not sure how long it will be free.

Scene differences

They missed a detail on the continuity side... the shirt of the mac guy is wrongly placed around his neck on the first scene. Then, it suddenly becomes straight. Weird that such a great agency missed one like this. The closeups were definitely made separately, too bad it shows.

Text?

Can someone paste the text from the ad? I'm stuck at work running windoze via a citrix client so I get no audio :(

Thanks!

PC Hugs Awkwardly

Notice how the PC jerkily, almost stumbles over to give the hug, and does it forcefully and in one motion. It's a small jab at PCs being less graceful and hard to use.

And, it was the Mac that offered the hug. The PC wanted to keep fighting.

It's a commercial, my over-analytic friend. Made for Apple. ;)

I really hope we start 2007 with John Hodgman (PC Guy) playing the Mac part having switched!

Just need to think of the character and person who will play VistaMan! A certain Donald - somebody ain't so busy these days!

Merry Christmas!:)

That would be awesome! Great poke at microsoft. ;) :D

The only hug I'd give to windows pc is a bear hug.

Until he stopped breathing.

That has nothing to do with John Hodgeman BTW, and everything to do with despising gates, microsoft, and windows... in that order.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D ;)

hey man, Gates is doing a lot more in helping the world than any government in the world through his Bill & Melisa Gates Foundation. Props to him.

on the other hand, MS needs a marketing type leader, not technological savvy one like Gates.

I noticed that also.

Now that Macs can run Windows as well as OS-X, I for one can't figure out how Dell and other PC manufacturers will maintain their sales volumes. I personally have convinced three people to go Mac rather than Dell because of the comfort of being able to run Windows if they need to. Even five years ago this wouldn't have been possible.

Bottom line is that any perceived goodwill between Apple and the generic PC world only works in Apple's favor in my opinion.
