At its "Unleashed" event last week, Apple announced that the HomePod mini will be available in three new colors starting in November, including yellow, orange, and blue. The new colors will be sold alongside the existing space gray and white options.

Apple has yet to provide a specific release date for the new colors, but in Europe and India, the timeframe is slightly narrowed down. Specifically, Apple's online store says the HomePod mini will be available in yellow, orange, and blue in "late November" in the U.K., Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and India.

In other countries where the new HomePod mini colors will be available, including the U.S., Canada, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, and Taiwan, Apple's online store simply mentions "November" availability.

AppleTrack's Sam Kohl today reported that he is "hearing" that the new HomePod mini colors will be available to order starting Monday, November 1, which is the same day that the Beats Fit Pro are rumored to launch. If this date is accurate, it would suggest that the new colors will be released first in countries like the U.S. and Canada, followed by European countries and India. We'll find out if this rumor is true in just five days.

Beyond the new colors, there are no hardware-related changes to the HomePod mini, and pricing will remain at $99 in the United States.

Is there something that makes this article specifically a Public Service Announcement, in some way different from half the other articles here? I'm not complaining, I'm curious about the choice of the "PSA" tag.

So they probably are just dying the excess HomePod minis that didn’t sell to make room for gen 2. This thing’s software needs more love.

They'll look great for the month of November. After that, they'll look like the poops my cat makes when he's not feeling well. Someone got paid a lot of money to come up with those colors, it boggles the mind.

I like the new color options.

I wish there were more muted ones. I guess the orange and yellow work well in kids' rooms, but I would like something like a maroon or forest green. Guess I'll go with blue.

(But yes, it's nice that the color options are no longer "grey" and "dark grey".)

These are horrible sounding speakers with a non-removable wire (not shown in the product marketing)

Apple will probably make a lithium-ion wireless version in another “incremental” update…but first…they’ll take your money by introducing colors. My advice…get an ULTIMATE EARS mega boom that sounds 10X better and works w/o having to be plugged in all of the time…you’ll thank yourself years from now.

They seriously need to fix the connectivity issues. I bought one and had to exchange it. Got a second one to pair them as stereo and the new one disconnects all the time while the other one is okay. So it doesn’t seem like a router issue.
