New iMac Shipping Notices

Anyone who ordered a new iMac on release day - Tuesday October 13th - and NOT the basic models that were available in the stores (apparently any changes to the basic model had to be shipped) get their status updated from "Processing Items" to either "Preparing for Shipment" or "Shipped"?

I ordered the 21.5" iMac Retina and only upgraded the memory from 8GB to 16GB on 10/13 and it still says "Preparing Items". :(

Mine is also on "Preparing items". Ordered on October 14th. I hope you replace the awful 5400rpm hard drive too.

Good news and bad news. The good news is you can still cancel your order. The bad news is that if you didn't upgrade to the 1TB fusion (at minimum) or 2TB (preferable) you will likely be frustrated with your new computer. It will be SLOW. If you don't take my advice now, you have 14 days to return it for a full refund.

Yeah, 3-5 business days for processing does make shipping Monday an unfortunate possibility for those of us who ordered first thing (I know some folks somehow got 2-4 for processing time and some in the UK are getting quicker shipping times.) But most of us I think are still stuck as they assemble the machines.
 
I ordered mine a day after and its still processing too! Just as excited as everyone else :)

Early this evening my status changed to preparing for shipment and a bit later I got the email and a notification from Fedex that delivery is expected Monday by 8PM. Tried calling to see if Fedex will hold it instead but from what I was told Apple insisted in at least one attempted delivery.

What was your estimated delivery date
 
I ordered a 27 inch BTO on Tuesday with expected delivery between 10/19 and 10/21, but last time I checked the status was still processing. However, the Order Status page on Apple's site is not available now, so I will have to check later.
 
Mine still stays "Processing Items: Delivers: 19 Oct, 2015 - 21 Oct, 2015". Tomorrow is the 19th... I hope I get it this week!
 
I'm in the UK and mine shipped yesterday but my ups tracking number won't work
 
I pre-ordered from BhPhoto.. mine will take longer than most people.. but hey.. no hurry..

It will be fun to see people's benchmark as you guys receive yours..
 
I've got a race going. What will arrive first, the memory I ordered today from Amazon or the BTO iMac I ordered on Tuesday.
