No new Mac Pros just yet! I need to sell my 2008 8 core before they are released.

It'll be interesting to see how much premium Apple will charge for a basic battery charger for it being white and having the Apple name on it. Or is there something about it I'm missing like it will charge from USB?

Arrrgh! spoke too soon:

4.6.8 and 12 core options

Same case :p

USB 2.0! ouch. Thought 3.0 would be the next step. Maybe I'll wait until 3.0 and light peak make their debut. Plus an 8 core system would run $3000+, if I'm lucky enough to sell my 2.8 8 core with 1 TB hard drive, ATI Radeon HD4870 and 8 GB RAM for $2000-2500, hmmmm tempting.

Was hoping to see a combo BT keyboard and Trackpad (Dinovo Edge style), but that looks pretty sweet nonetheless.

Maybe they'll give you Apple branded duracells :p

Hopefully the new Mac Pro will have superfast USB 2.0.

Oh wait it does

wait maybe fast firewi...

never mind that seems to be untouched as well.

An HD 5750 as the "high end" graphics? This is a f*#king joke. At 2k, this should have a 5830 or GTX 460 at least. Worse part is, it will cost you an extra 150.00 for a card that you can buy for 140 by itself.

I'm actually quite impresed by that. The 5750 is a pretty good graphics card, and it's better than I was expecting from Apple.

Wait... the standard is a 4650? That's more like the Apple I know! :D

I wonder if Apple is replacing the mouse with the magicpad when you purchase a new iMac?

That would be nice :)

It's all about add ons. Here's a $69 trackpad. Here's a $29 charger. All to go with your new iMac.

I like how Apple makes even a Battery Charger look sexy. If they are decent batteries then the Charger + Batteries are not bad for the price. Always find myself having to buy new batteries for Mouse so might come in handy.

Not sure about having a trackpad replace a mouse yet, we're just so used to the Mouse, although I do love it on the Macbooks.
