I'm pretty sure you have a jailbroken phone and the apps you are using is causing ios5 to crash and create those bugs, not iOS5 itself. Don't believe me?
Remove the jailbreak and try it out!

Respring problems is common with some jailbreak apps and all the bugs you have just showed us. Don't tell us that iOS5 is to blame, because those bugs are not "small" bugs that i think apple would have been okay with to release it with.

You can unlock the lock screen though, slide the calendar icon or notification icon to the right..
Where did I ever say that these were iOS 5 bugs? I said these are bugs with LOCKINFO... I never claimed iOS 5 was to blame, I said that the BETA VERSION OF LOCKINFO IS BUGGY... maybe you should try reading because I never once claimed these bugs were from apple.

Oh, sorry, my bad! :D Honest mistake, that explains it then :)

Let's not forget either that the Chronic Dev team also said back in the 4.x.x days that they had an untethered JB and time went on and one day GeoHot put one out then a day later Chronic Dev released theirs... Some said they had nothing til GoeHot put his out then they used his exploits and made Greenpois0n (I DON'T KNOW just read it)

Today another well known Dev (help find the 4.3.2 and 4.3.3 exploits for untethered) tweeted this so I'm not sure... Kinda want to believe i0n1c...

Oh my, this news will be soooo disappointing to those who said things like;
  • "This is excellent! Crowdsourcing is a great idea for such a tough job."
  • "Exploits are harder to find. They release a product that helps them find exploits. 2 + 2 = 4."
  • "Therefore, it is a good thing that this tool has been released. Q.E.D. "

I don't care what they do as long as they find something. I uploaded mine so.... Well see I guess

Guys and Gals,

Also do not forget twitter is our friend! Follow some of these guys and you will get the info quickly as well.

The data begs to differ though. Android currently has 50%+ which is the majority of the marketshare. iOS WP7 and RIM share most of the remaining 50%. It's much more likely that people have moved to android and less have gone to iPhone which has generated a greater marketshare for Android.

Hummm,

I don't remember this being a quantity contest.
My point was only that there is movement in both directions

You are precisely correct...
Chronic claimed 5 exploits suitable for jailbreaking
They claim Apple closed 2
Funny there is no mention of the remaining 3 in their blogpost.

iOn1c is correct, examining crash reports will lead to exactly nothing if you have nothing to begin with.

Get the skyrocket.

LTE Speed are so blazingly fast that the smoothness and greatness of the iPhone will fade away.

If EVERYONE from the jailbreak community WOULD MOVE TO ANDROID, Apple would magically put in a Jailbreak switch that wouldn't actually break any code.

The jailbreak community is responsible for many million sold iPhones other than our own iPhones.

Example.

I bought a 4s... No jailbreak and I saw this comming... Returned it. Got a skyrocket.

My mother has a i4, So does my wife. Now, all of the sudden they want Androids too. Same with other people around me.

One Jailbreaker moves 5-6 people to buy products. Tech buyers follow the "geeks". That could mean 5 mill + iphones less sold per year .... or even more, just to put an example.

iPhone>>>>>>>>>>>Android, but the fact that we can't actually do what we want it to do means .... Android>iPhone.

Vote with your wallet people.

Android sucks. I have managed to switch quite a few android users to iPhone and I will continue. Jailbreak or no Jailbreak iOS is better then Android on every level.

I'm not sure if it's iOS 5 or the A5, but actually, all 5 exploits are required for jailbreaking purposes.

It's on other sources on the web too.

Thus, with these two holes closed, they need to replace these two vulnerabilities.
