Maybe if I put it differently - Apple doesn't care about people, who have such specific software requirements.

And this is ok. I will argue that it is better to make devices, which are great for 80% of users than devices that are mediocre for everybody.
 
it is important to be objective about to the product that this Apple m1 want to replace on the market. We all have to think about this. The m1 chip want to replace entry level product up to MacBook Pro 13', in fact there are no 16' apple silicon Mac. I replaced my MacBook Pro 13 intel 10th gen with m1 counterpart and I have no regrets. Much more power (with less ram, 8gb instead 16gb that I had on intel), less heat generated and much more autonomy than before!
