Ok thanks. They'll be also assembling products in brazil.

The Brazilian government today passed fiscal incentives promised to Foxconn if they open a plant here to make Ipads. This paves the way for Apple to make an argument for lower import tariffs which is the true barrier to Apple gaining larger market share in Brazil. The Apple Iphone 4S at $1,405 USD in Brazil is the world’s most expensive Iphone.

I've seen a few sites that say october 10

What say macrumors ?

That's a Wednesday. Have they moved their announcement days to Wednesdays? This last iPhone announcement was a Wednesday because I assumed Tuesday was 9/11, but never assumed the launch announcement day would remain Wednesday. That was just my assumption of course. And without word from Apple yet on any announcement it seems very unlikely, but it would be great if I were wrong!

I'm personally (very sadly) doubting any new product announcements the rest of the year.

Talking in general now everything should believe the rumours when you see it
At the end of the day apple are out to make money probably apple have looked in to making a ipad mini but its not worth there while to do it making a ipad mini and it would but strain on there 9'7 iPads Apple wouldnt want to jeopardise there sales in anyway with a ipad mini they have enough to cope with brands on the market at the eg markete.gsamung,asus,sony,creative,arches,dell.fujitsu,toshiba,motorola

That enough to be coping with never mind making more products on the same brand and making them smaller
