Thanks Apple for making the keyboard compatible with the previous iPad Pros. Seems like the biggest upgrade to this new iPad.

Just wish it didnt cost over 1/3 of the ipad cost. That's a ripoff honestly. $179/199 was already high for a keyboard.

$229/249 for this one would have been a decent price. A $50 premium still.

That's nuts. You're at $1100/1350 for a BASE ipad and keyboard.

I've been considering replacing my iPad mini 4 with an 11" pro, and with that new keyboard that might be the perfect travel computer...

Not sure I'm gonna spend ±NOK 17.000 on a secondary computer when I have a 13" MBP that's just over 1/2 a year old, though...

Decisions, decisions... :p

thanks!
found this line interesting.
Apple says updates to its iWork suite are coming soon that will take full advantage of the trackpad.

You would think Apple would have its own apps already take full advantage of the trackpad to show it off.

Keybord isnt shipping until May so no one will have it anyway.

"Magic Keyboard coming in May. "

External mice people sure, I guess. But my guess is not many regular people even know about that.

ONLY $299/350 for the keyboard 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Sorry Apple you totally lost my interest there in a tackpad keyboard. Thats INSANE pricing at over 1/3 the ipad cost.

128gb on the base ipad with all the new stuff is a good move though for the same $799/999.
It’s an $1100 alternative to the $1000 MacBook Air that offers performance closer to the MacBook Pro. It’s definitely not for everyone but is a solid alternative for those who can use it.

Given the recent improvements in iOS apps like Microsoft Office, Photoshop, etc., it’s a good alternative to a “full” laptop for many people.

Well... ordered. Couldn't be more timely. I've had a new iPad Pro and accessories in my Bag online about 4 times in the past month, and kept hesitating because I was expecting this, but worried the current situations would push this off to fall... Bye bye cash.

What a surprise, the iMac gets passed up on again. It’s been a year since the updates and “rumors” said it was being updated now. But all we get is another iPad and more storage Mac mini. Jeez.

how much ram do these have? do the 1tb have more ram in it like last gens did?
Don't think we'll know that until people get their hands on them. Apple doesn't advertise RAM for iOS devices.

Nice but prices are getting a bit silly now. Think I'll stick to my 10.5" pro until they go OLED with iPads.

The iPad price is fine honestly IMO. Same $799/999 but getting 128gb base storage (versus 64gb) and all the new cameras etc.

It's good if you dont have a previous gen iPad Pro, but not a HUGE upgrade at all. A small refresh really.

The keyboards are insane, just insane, priced. You cant get into an ipad with keyboard under $1100 for the 11 inch or $1350 for the 12.9.

Hey, it is only Wednesday! Remember last year where Apple had a week filled with product launches? iPad Air on Monday, AirPods on Tuesday, MacBook on Wednesday.... something like that! Who knows what Tim Apple has up his sleeve!
