And what games need that power?
You can never have “too powerful” GPU… it doesn’t exist…

For 7-8 years. With complete OS supportnot much has changed, my m4 iPad Pro should be good for 3 more years
There is a lot of negative sentiment around companies who artificially lock hardware down, who unlock that additional feature through an additional payment or subscription. I don’t think Apple wants to be “that company,” yet. That all makes sense but still seems very anti-consumer. They should at least unlock the additional 4GB of RAM now or at some point in the future.
Apple has to love Russian youtubers 😁 😂It’s insane how we went from “hey, look at this unreleased iPhone found in a bar” to “what’s up guys, today, I’m unboxing an iPad that Apple hasn’t even announced yet”
4133 single core on an iPad 🤯
11.9% improvement, if true. Not much, but also not too shabby.
and it looks like on the same CPU clock. Looks good to me.11.9% improvement, if true. Not much, but also not too shabby.
That’s just single core. Bigger improvements on both multi and metal. That’s what it’s all about.
Censorship? The live translation in my airpods only worked in the beginning. After, "Hello my dear friends!" Apple's live translation stopped working
Are you sure its the same clock speed?and it looks like on the same CPU clock. Looks good to me.
Yes but it could be even better if it was thicker!Except that the iPad Pro is still better than the iPad Air in pretty much every single way.
Which cannot be said about the iPhone Air and the iPhone Pro.
Hey, great, now the two people in the world for whom the M4 iPad isn’t powerful enough can finally upgrade.
Apple: “Hmm, how can we make the M5 iPad stand out from the M4, so that M4 owners feel forced to upgrade to the newest version even if they don’t actually need it? Oh, I know, let’s just remove the ‘iPad Pro’ text from the back! That way, everyone will instantly know if someone has the old M4 model. Genius idea!”
How many people are already coming up with excuses for themselves about why they “need” this new M5 version?
you can look at least of this unique A19 deep dive, just turn on captionslooks like quite big GPU upgrade (but no information in the video about the neural cores added to it, bummer)
I'm hoping the M5 Macs are coming in October too... but I know it's probably hopeless
Yes indeed… a small step for the user, a giant leap in revenue for Apple.how dare you suggest that Apple didn't pour millions into this giant leap from 4 to 5 and just faffed about for a year!
and whatever excuses there are, they'll become irrelevant as soon as Apple wheels out another 35% extra, it's like microdosing a captive horde of addicts, drip drip - kerching - drip drip - kerching..
Cool Bumpersticker...You can never have “too powerful” GPU… it doesn’t exist…
It’s an 12% increase with no increase in frequency. It’s great.11.9% improvement, if true. Not much, but also not too shabby.
Could be no event at all. Just “New iPad Pros, now with new chips” in a press release.
its notIt’s an 12% increase with no increase in frequency. It’s great.

We know the frequency. It’s 4.4ghz. Same as the M4 iPad. It’s in the video and on the test results. The A19 Pro appears to have 5% higher frequency than the A18 Pro, so I would expect that of M4 to M5, too.
