lol no thanks, that crappy entry level phone with a tiny unusable screen is for peasants. No self-respecting adult with normal sized hands should be caught dead with that thing.Nah, the 15PM is a piece of garbage compared to a 13M. I dare you to use the 13M for a day, you won't go back
Why should Apple invest in R&D and tooling for 12% of the customers (half of which won’t walk their talk anyway), when 88% are more or less satisfied with the bigger sizes?
Apple had a mini iPhone for two seasons - and it sold poorly. Why repeat such a mistake?
26.8% of users hoping for better thermal performance to prevent overheating issues
82.1% of respondents expressed willingness to wait up to a month after release for the AI features to be fully implemented
I want faster charging. It shouldn’t take 2 hours for my phone to go from 83% to 100%. If I don’t use a fast charger, my phone literally loses power while it is on a normal charger. I have to wake up at 4 in the morning to go downstairs to my fast charger to make sure I have a full battery to last me through most of the day before I leave the house??
It’s interesting that 33% say that “the iPhones are now
getting too big to handle and hold” and an additional 12% say they are “waiting for a new compact model to be launched”. If this is reasonably accurate, there’s some hope that Apple will eventually listen to it.
Ummmm…okI've never had an issue with overheating.
„Getting too big“ does not necessarily imply that they already reached the threshold. Apple likes to test how far they can go.From the numbers I quoted, it’s actually 50% who say that phones are getting too big.
My 13PM before also never showed such behavior. Maybe it’s (partly) related to the (official) plastic case I’m using after Apple took away the leather cases. That's interesting. I live somewhere where it's regularly at or over those temperatures during the day for 6 - 7 months of the year and haven't seen any sluggishness unless my phone is in direct sunlight. I currently have a 13 Pro but owned a 12 Pro and other models before and none had thermal issues except in direct sunlight.
I've had one or two problems, when its been in the direct sunlight. This isn't going to fix that.I've never had an issue with overheating.
You're right, but even when I use that brick it doesn't take 2 hours to go from 83% to 100%))
The temperature is due to the screen outside and not the cpu in most cases, depending on what you do of course.Would rather have an option to slow down the CPU to cool off iPhone instead of dimming the screen. Nothing is more annoying than not being able to see your screen outside when it dims over 50%![]()
We need a more fancy marketing term for the thermal design and cooling like „Vapor chamber“ as found in the Xbox series.
More marketing than efficiency is the priority.
You're right, what was I thinking?))Never let facts get in the way of a good rant.
Or just generally more people are playing games like Monopoly Go on their phones.Really surprising so many people care about this, maybe it’s more relevant to gamers and users of other resource-intensive apps?
Well... overheating can affect battery life quite a bit.
