Awesome! For the first time I am starting to get excited. Wasn't sure if I would get one as my iPhone 3G + iPad 1 meets my needs. This though looks the goods.
I just got the tape measure out and saw just how much bigger half an inch is!!
ummm... wow. they used to teach that stuff in 2nd grade....![]()
0.5" diagonal bigger doesn't mean 0.5" bigger length.
I hope the new iPhone has a similar back to the iPad 2
I would like to know why exactly the 4 design fell out of favour with some of the executives.
No .5 would be five tenths of an inch.Actually, I'm confused? the 9to5 article: http://9to5mac.com/2011/07/29/new-i...thinner-but-half-inch-wider-and-longer-frame/ highlights the half inch size, yet on my tape measure their are several markings before half an inch. Is this .5 really half an inch?
I think the iPhone 4 is easily the bets looking iPhone and possibly the best looking phone ever made, HOWEVER practicailty also has to be taken into consideration and all factors considered the 3gs was a more practical design than the iphone 4, so that might be the reason.I love the box design, it looks extremely professional, very sturdy design and just oozes gorgeous. The rounded backs have always seemed more 'playful,' 'toy-esque' to me, I'd get used to using it I guess, but I would much rather prefer a continuation of the iPhone 4 design.

This isn't a post to prove any points, just a story.Antennagate? Easily shatterable glass backs?
Burning stacks of cash to resolve these issues is a large issue for executives and board members.
If its gonna look like the mockup above i ll buy 3 of them, it looks awsome![]()
