Youre not. Glass back was the most premium looking and feeling iPhone to date.

I agree. My favourite design so far is the 4S for that reason. I love the new model but the 4S just looks and feels so cool. Bring back the glass!

How so? Most iPhone users I know, including myself, won't upgrade if they make the phone too big to fit in their pocket. If they make a huge version -- which I still think they shouldn't, like I said they shouldn't make the iPad mini -- then they had better keep a smaller one around or they will alienate a ton of loyal users.

Because it's pretentious nonsense. Nothing is perfect, and Steve or anyone else that says their phone is "perfect" and shouldn't change is a fool. Trends change, opinions change, use cases change. Your opinion is merely yours, I would like a larger phone and it would fit in my pocket just fine. I owned a Lumia 920 which is a much larger phone and had no issues with it fitting in my pocket. Just because YOU don't want one doesn't mean it doesn't make business sense to follow trends and capitalize on what people want. Bigger phone are obviously something people want otherwise everyone that makes them wouldn't be in business still. And if you think they'll alienate users with a bigger phone you don't know Apple users. Most if not all of them hate on what other companies offer, then when Apple releases a similar product they praise it to no end and claim fallaciously that Apple waited until it was done "right" and then they go out and buy them in record numbers. The Apple faithful will buy whatever they put out on the market. To deny otherwise is foolish.

Steve was never wrong.

Spoken like a true believer.

To reiterate what we've all said before, there are all kinds of users.

For instance, a petite girl with small hands... you can be quick to say she would prefer a smaller form factor, but she may have a purse to carry a larger device.
Or a man with very large hands... may be more comfortable using a 5.5" phone with one hand... but that doesn't mean it's going to fit in his jeans pocket.

There will always be something for everyone.

I've used a samsung gS3 among other phones.... and I cannot use it with one hand without dropping it. I've gotten pretty good, but it's very difficult for my hands. It's only a 4.7 (or 5. for S4).

Part of this is also shape of edges, and where the weight of the device is located. Some phones are heavier on the bottom, some are heavier on top, some have rounded edges, some have sharper edges, etc.
...and where navigation buttons are located.

It's a rectangular device, like 100% of smartphones.

People need to look beyond the hardware and start to realise it's about SOFTWARE SOFTWARE SOFTWARE! This is where Apple is lightyears ahead of its rivals such as Google & Microsoft.

I disagree with the Microsoft comparison.

Windows Phone is a brilliant piece of software. Functionally it is far better than iOS.

Most people haven't used it and seem to think that it is bad for some reason (comparing it with windows 8 even though the two are unrelated).

I wonder how well it would sell if they had a 3.4" along with one larger model. I went from a 4S to a Note 1 and I really liked it for a few reasons, some having nothing to do with the size yet at the same time I kind of messed the easier to handle 4S.

I hope they bring the glass back. I maybe in the minority though.

My favourite iPhone is still the 4S.

I also still think it looks the best of the iPhones. No odd two toned back plate.
