Anyone else expect, upon finishing this ad, their phone to ring and a creepy voice to whisper, "Seven days."?
The earlier commercials were of the Galaxy S7, not Note 7.Unlike Samsung, you can leave it at home and fear for your family's safety.
Agreed. A welcome feature, except to those that prefer mono.Stereo Sound. Yay... like in the 60s with the heavy panning. What a feature.
Anyone else reminded by this?
Apple's is way better though!![]()
This type of ad is born out of necessity. There is nothing physically distinguishing about the new iPhone 7, and nothing really new or unique in the basic way it functions from the 2007 iPhone. Showing us the phone isn't going to make anyone want to buy it. So they have to shroud it in mystery.

I don't remember seeing that.. And now I inexplicably want a 5S. XDPeople are so negative, this is a visually appealing ad. Dark Phones Dark theme. Also to say this isn't Apple is false.
How we easily forget.
Would be no need to whine if Apple didn't screw up.It does emphasize your capacity to whine about it and expect people to applaud you for your "originality".
They would have been better off highlighting the lines of the jet black with awesome music.. similar to the apple watch launch video.. Beauty speaks for itself.
Would be no need to whine if Apple didn't screw up.
At this point you're the only one whining. The irony. The main selling point is the camera and waterproofing
Again whining. Go back to your little horrible reality.
I prefer quality stereo headphones that I can plug straight in to wimpy built in stereo speakers.Agreed. A welcome feature, except to those that prefer mono.
So get a set of quality lightning stereo headphones and plug them straight in.I prefer quality stereo headphones that I can plug straight in to wimpy built in stereo speakers.
I've held conference calls with 5 people listening so far on either iPads or iPhones. Stereo speakers is gimmicky on a phone. So get a set of quality lightning stereo headphones and plug them straight in.
The wimpy built in stereo speakers are handy when more than one person is listening. With two listeners, you could each take one earpiece (though you lose the stereo and both wouldn't hear exactly the same thing). With three listeners, even the highest quality wired stereo headphones would leave one person out.
You guess wrong. I am an atheist.I've held conference calls with 5 people listening so far on either iPads or iPhones. Stereo speakers is gimmicky on a phone.
As for lightening headphones. No thanks. I paid a premium for both my iPhone and Jack-wired Sennheisers.
I expect a decent DAC to come with the iPhone and not have to fork out double for the same headphones, just because Apple is now outboarding functionality.
Guess you worship at the Apple temple and agree with every move they make, eh ?
