I just don't see anything about dropping the phone.
Look at the photos. The phone looks dented in the camera quadrant.
I just don't see anything about dropping the phone.
My point is the very poor quality of the fabric.
For work I have a Microsoft phone that constantly drops, still one piece.
[doublepost=1479494313][/doublepost]Plus I had the iPhone 5c for over one year and I dropped it many times and nothing happened.
You live in London ? Then you should know better....it's "football" not "soccer".thank you for showing off your knowledge.
[doublepost=1479497121][/doublepost]It's funny how you are all defending Apple assuming that I play soccer using the iPhone, you can see from the pictures that there are no scratches.
Ohhh burn!!!!You live in London ? Then you should know better....it's "football" not "soccer".
A few things:
1) Its not water proof. Apple never claimed it was water proof. It is merely splash resistant. A couple of drops of water shouldn't harm it, submerging it on the other hand is a recipe for disaster.
2) The camera lens is sapphire. Sapphire is scratch resistant, but is more prone to shattering. As glass gets "harder" it becomes more brittle. The fact that you shattered your camera lens so easily proves that its sapphire.
3) The headphones are made form the same material that the last 4+ iPhone's headphones material. I have headphones from the iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6s and 7. They are feel the same.
Also, the lens is not sapphire. This has been debunked by numerous online sources using a graded scratching tool on the lens.
That is incorrect. The phone is rated IP67 which means it can be "submerged in up to 1m of water for 30 minutes". While you shouldn't take it swimming, it is certainly more than capable of handling more than some splashes.

It's not so much many here are, "defending Apple" as it is we're simply pointing out your error(s) and perhaps slightly mocking you.thank you for showing off your knowledge.

I thought it had to be that way because the sapphire would distort the image.Wrong. The lens still is sapphire. However, it looks like Apple decided to use a thin sapphire coating over glass rather than a full sapphire lens this time. Because the coating is so thin and sapphire is so brittle, the sapphire portion is more prone to breaking when dropped or subjected to concentrated presseure. That is what is happening in those scratch test videos. The tool is actually breaking the sapphire layer rather than scratching it. Certainly not ideal and a pretty clear effort on Apple's part to cut costs. But the resistance of the camera lens to everyday screatches (e.g. particles when putting the phone on a table or in your pocket) should be just as good as on past models. Yes, it will break more easily if you deliberately try to scratch it. But then, why would you be doing that?
FYI my iPhone was not fixed, I mean not without me paying £260, there are stories of people with the same issue and they had their phone fixed for free, never been lucky. As the phone is mine and it's me who wasted the money, I do believe I have the right to say that iPhone7 is RUBBISH.
it's faster and same battery life (Apple claimed more then what actually is) but it's definitely not worth the money.

Have to agree. Battery life of 7 Plus is worse than my 2-year-old 6 Plus.
Not worth the money.
The iphone 7 is built with poor quality but its quality we are known to accept.
Almost every iPhone has been made poor for many years. Most mass produced items in China are.
sorry but my iPhone 5 with chipping disagrees. 5S with loose home button after button disagree. iPhone 6 with the camera moving disagree. 6+ with touch disease. 6S with battery shutting at 20%.I agree there are items that are poorly manufactured in China. But Apple has fairly stringent quality standards. The iPhone is a premium piece of hardware. When you produce millions of devices, it's inevitable there will be defective units. But the success rate is much higher than that of a failure.
iPhones hold value for one of the reasons being they are made Well and last. I don't agree that iPhones are made with poor quality. The aluminum, Saphirre and Ion-X
Glass are durable when you factor real world daily use applications.
