Still skeptical Apple would put the Touch ID on the back but if it did it would be implented better than that.
Whatever these leaks suggest, I just can't imagine Apple release this kind of device.
Touch ID on the back, home button gone...
I know many on here have lost faith in Apple, but I haven't. There are almost no sensible decisions that lead to such a design choice, but exactly these design choices are (some say were) at Apple's core. Hence I would love to just put this off as false for now.
One can hope...
It's like each new iPhone looks worse than the previous one.
If it wasn't for the camera bump and the title of the article, I would have sworn that it was a Samsung Galaxy. It's like each new iPhone looks worse than the previous one.
That's an iPhone 5/5S. He wants a 3.5" screen, not a 4" screen. They already did. It's called the iPhone SE with the same form factor and has Touch ID.
The thing is people on this forum are going to cry blue murder at the thought of Apple putting Touch ID on the back, but when Apple do it's going to be "ah, i see Apple solved that problem"I'm still not buying Touch ID on the back. It's just not ergonomic, and it doesn't seem like something Apple would do. Obviously I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.
How would that even work as a home button? Pushing against the back with your index just wouldn't work. The thumb works because you're pushing the phone against your palm.
They can easily maintain this iconic look with a virtual home button, and an OLED display would allow it to be always on as well.I think the traditional iphone look has become so iconic, they would be foolish to change it. I mean, a rectangle with rounded corners and a small circle at the bottom means iphone to everyone. It's a world-wide mark at this point.

That model looks like Apple are releasing an Android phone. That's what it looks like to me, quite generic in modern times and very boring with ugly areas. But this very likely isn't the design we'll see, early models like this are often unreliable for the most part.Whatever these leaks suggest, I just can't imagine Apple release this kind of device.
