New iPods on Monday?

Duff-Man says....may I suggest that you read the other posts in this thread and the other thread in the news section. You will then see just how many people have already asked the same thing, and you will no doubt see the answer you are seeking....oh yeah!
 
I thought I had read most of the other threads, but I must have missed something.

This forum needed one Main thread, rather then three seperate ones.

I actually have an ipod on order through cram and jam. Im hoping that if apple doesnt offer me an upgrade that Ill be able to call and change my order. it isnt scheduled to ship until wednesday, so im crossing my fingers that the 4gs will be available tomorrow.

Dude, the sony can't even play mp3 without first converting them. The iPod can play serveral formats and from what I read the sony only plays one!

Yep, you're correct Stewie. Once again, the iPod/iTMS will face competition, the skeptics will say that Apple is foolish in its strategies, and that the iPod/iTMS is doomed, and yet the iPod/iTMS will stand the test of time and spank the compeition. Bring it on Sony! At least Sony will have one customer in xsnightclub, from the looks of it... :cool:

I e-mailed my Apple sales rep and he is calling me tomorrow to change my order (see a few pages back) so I'm sure it won't be a problem for you. My iPod (w/ cram and jam) wasn't scheduled to ship until the 27th.

Apple sales rep? Im sorry, but who is my apple sales rep? Do you simply mean that you caled the number listed on the applestore site for making changes to your order? I'll call tomorrow if the new 'pods become available!

Well no, when I placed my order the person from Apple e-mailed me his Apple e-mail and extension at Apple should I have any questions or any more orders.

Everyone already knows this and there is a new, updated thread to reflect the iPod updates, so you don't have to worry about posting this - especially posting the same message in multiple threads... :cool:

i was lookin around yahoo and saw this pic of some ipod minis - what caught my attention was their color. they look like a more pastel version of the current mini's.. the article also mentions something about the new ipod minis being debut'd (sp?) in tokyo july 24, 2004. ?? anybody know whats up with this? or am i late

That was the international release date, prior to that they were only available in the United States. And the anodized aluminum has been known to give various shades from pastel to vivid, its a cause of the process.
